Sorry for being absent guys!!! I was crazy busy this weekend as there was an accepted students weekend on my campus and everything was nuts!!

Thank you for all the mini help everyone, I’ll take a look at everything tonight and try to mix some stuff up to make stuff fit :)))) love the ideas everyone is coming up with!

Both of the books Ive read were rereads for a different thing so I obviously love both of them; Im hating the communist manifesto. Stupid school!

The mini is on the spread sheet! Theres a tab at the bottom of your screen; you may have to zoom out if youre on mobile, that says February mini :) just input them there with your reasoning and such!!

Hey guys, please please try and see if your books that you finished today and for the rest of the month fit the mini challenge prompts! Its okay to stretch the stuff and just verify with the group. The spread for the mini is under February mini tab.

Also, Im highlighting the rows in bright green after I use them in the official board so I know what Ive used and what I havent. PLEASE dont color anything on the spread so I dont get confused lol

Hi Cami! Unfortunately the challenge has already begun so there arent any more teams being created. If you message a mod of Perks they can probably put you on a reserves list for any teams who may need an extra member in the future!

Looks like we can be pretty creative with it! I added the stuff to the spreadsheet, its kind of messy because I just copy and pasted from the original one. If you have any ideas, feel free to claim a spot!

These mini challenges are more about planning and claiming spots on the board that the regular challenge is, since I have NO idea what words are in the texts of what you're reading, etc. If something you're reading fits, please add it! Were gonna need all of the rest of our books to hopefully fit something on the board!

Perky Space Chef! February Mini Challenge

This is an optional mini challenge for our UNO players. This month we are baking a delicious space treat!.

We have given you a recipe for Astral Pavolva. All underlined words need to be found as words in text or title, items on covers or cover colours. All underlined numbers, are matched to books read by page numbers, series numbers or publication dates. To make it easy, these are listed below.
For each book read you will receive 10 points.

Underlined Words -
There are 5 categories:
word in title
word in text
colour of book cover
item on cover
colour of item on cover

Underlined numbers -
There are 3 categories:
page numbers
series number
publication date




Creativity is the key to the challenge, not rules.
So, diagonal lines on the cover? That can work for "diagonally".
A green coloured book? Is the green a bit like a "lime"?!

Words can be in different contexts, so, for example, "peaks" could be a picture of mountain peaks on the cover

Numbers for the publication date can be the month or the day or the last two digits of the publication year. (3 digit numbers can not be used for publication date)
Publication date is for the edition being read (and shelved).

If you complete every item in the recipe your team will receive 30 bonus points



But wait... there's more!

Have your team create a recipe for your team name and submit via message to the UNO Pixie by Feb 29 to receive an additional 30 bonus points.

◈ Books can be started at any point since the start of the UNO challenge (Feb 1)
◈ Books need to be finished after the start of this mini challenge on February 14, 7pm AEDST (countdown is here) and before March 1 at 7pm AEDST (Countdown to March is here)


◈ Books used for this mini challenge do not need to be separate books for what you are claiming for your UNO hands
◈ The usual book length rules apply
◈ Team spreadsheets will be updated with a mini challenge tab so that you can track your books and claim your points

Yeah the two books about America's daughter aren't as interesting; I found her really annoying and bratty when I read those ones.

Hey everyone! Please make sure your information on our sheet is updated and all of the books youve read are on your UNO shelves :) Im updating the official sheet when I get home from Jazz!

Theyre still honorifics; theres no way for anybody who hasnt read the book to know if youre just slapping those on or not :) it doesnt matter, that book counts for plenty of cards without those titles!

Titles of characters like King, Prince, etc dont work, just the actual name.

Is what a paranormal series? I meant book #2 that ive read for UNO

Last names count, I wouldnt say Elite does but Elite is the title of the book so
