How is everyone else doing??

Question: I have a book written by Tommy Orange... think that could count for the fruit mini portion? I know they say title or text but...

Recommendation if anybody hasn't read it: I recently read Exit West for class and highlyyy recommend. Extremely relevant to the current state of the world as well. Works for the mini-challenge!

I have another favour to ask (I must stop bothering you, this is the la..."

oooooh greek soccer! I am a huge soccer fan but haven't ventured outside of the prem and the MLS.
I realllllly admire that you're reading so much at one time! I really wish I could manage this but my brain starts confusing everything lol!

I've been thinking about picking this one up! how did you like it??

I've been really wanting to read this one! I usually hesitate with celebrity books but I've heard such great things about it. LMK what you think of it Kaley!

What is everyone starting off with today? Im starting with White Fang just because I was supposed to read a chunk of it for class last week and didn’t because of the challenge LOL. Time to catch up!

Love a library moment :) I work for Barnes and Noble so I get 50% off books but it also means I spend too much money on books and have so many I haven't read!!!

Haha! I was on a Sarah J. Maas kick yearsss ago with the Throne of Glass series, and since her newer stuff blew up I am scared to dig myself back in.

Also super excited to see that we are coming from all over the world for the challenge :D Do y'all have favorite books from authors in your area/that take place in your area?
Here are some big Philly ones!:

Thanks for getting to the bottom of this because I had no idea either lol perhaps a pre-uno screening is necessary to get into the team mindset ;)

I am currently a sociology and public health student in Philadelphia, PA (home of the U.S. ;)). I really love contemporary fiction, non-fiction about social issues, and romance when I have time. A lot of my reading time the last few years has been taken up by reading for school but a resolution for me (that I have been able to keep up so far..) is reading for pleasure more! I've been a captain for UNO in the past, but haven't played since 2021.
excited to meet and get to know all of you. I sent everyone a friend request as well: hopefully I can find some good reccs on your shelves!! I think it is so funny that our captain team is Kaley and Kaylee: hopefully we don't get confused haha!
heres my uno shelf: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...
