88432 Great job, everyone! That was a great effort in the end! And Molly, thanks for all your creative thinking yesterday!

88432 Actually, Brittany, could you make sure to add Paint the Wind to your uno shelf?

And Camille, can you also add your recent reads to your read and uno shelves when you get a chance?

I was able to make it work! Now to figure out Brittany's other two reads :)

88432 I'll take a look. Unfortunately, The Lost Village isn't white enough for the Venezuelan Poodle Moth, so I'm going to see what can be moved around.
Apr 30, 2023 07:41PM

88432 Thanks, Molly!

I also added 4 of Brittany's books to the mini. My head hurt a bit from trying to piece things together :). I'm going to try again for the other 3, but we're getting pretty limited with the open options.

88432 Thank you both for all of these details!! Let me try to play around with this and see where those books can go. We can only have one "get creative" prompt per animal, but I'm sure we can make some of these work.

88432 Brittany, which books have you not had luck with? Maybe we can help with finding a place for them.

88432 How's everyone feeling about the last couple of days of the challenge? I can't believe it's almost over! I'm kind of sad about it lol.

We have a couple of books left for Part 1 of the mini challenge that I know are being wrapped up. Part 2 we probably won't be able to complete, but we've made great progress with it!

I should be able to fit in one more short book for Honduran White Bat.

Thanks for the update, Camille! I think using this for the Honduran White Bat works!

I think this is brown enough!

88432 Part 2 of the mini challenge is definitely proving to be challenging! I spent a bit of time trying to move the devil entries so that we only had one "get creative" per animal. But I think I made it work!

We only have 3 cards left to complete, which is great! For the Part 1 of the mini, we only have 4 prompts left to complete (2 of which are mine, which I'll be wrapping up in the next couple of days). And for Part 2, I think we've made great progress, so let's see how far we can get by Sunday!

No worries! I hope things calm down with the exam behind you!

If you're able to take a look at the open Part 2 mini prompts, that would be great. Either Molly's book or mine can cover the open purple cover prompt in Part 1. But Part 2 has a lot of openings to fill. Though we've been making great progress!

88432 I think Camille said she found one, but not sure if she's still planning on reading it.

If you're able to read that, I say go for it, as we have two animals in Part 2 that could be used for a purple cover. I started the audible version of Pride and Prejudice that also has a purple cover. So between the three of us, we could cover those three prompts.

88432 Happy Friday, everyone! I wanted to let you know that I started reading Kismet, so we can use this one for the 8 Red card.

Got it. I was going to move this to the Casper section, but I'll leave it here and use the get creative prompt instead. We can move to the Casper section if we need to. Thanks for confirming!

88432 @Brittany, for Shit Cassandra Saw, did the book have the whole "blue-footed booby" in the text of just "booby"? (That was an odd sentence to type out...) Just want to double check that one before adding it to the team sheet!

88432 Violeta wrote: "The one I am reading Peach Blossom Spring, should also work for red E. It’s on the sheet but not under color cards. I put the red note next to it. Not sure if red enough?"

I think this one might be too pink, unfortunately.

Brittany, let us know if either of your other options work for the 8/E card. If not, we can use the Kismet one I found.

88432 If no one has found a book that we can swap in for the 8 Red card, I can use the below. Thankfully it's a quick listen, so I should be able to squeeze it in after my current audiobook.
