Seems like I can relax a bit with my reading then without slowing us down xD"
I'm with you on this! I'm hoping to finish one of my two current reads over the weekend, but I definitely won't be as fast as Kate, Kira, and Kimber :)

Nope, you can read whatever you like! The book does need to be at least 100 pages long. But otherwise, any genre works!

What have the rest of you started reading today?

I put myself down for 4 books a month but im thinking it will be more because I joined another challenge.
Captains do you want to change it to 6 or 8?

If you're able to read more, I don't think anyone will complain! I also don't think we need to change anything anywhere about your monthly count being greater.
As for the books you complete, in addition to posting a completion post, it'd be great to have the books with all the ways they fit the various cards in the tracking sheet. That way we can have everything in one place as we start completing the hands.

No worries! I feel like at this point we're just planning and waiting for the challenge to officially begin :)

Kira, it might seem daunting at first, but I’m sure you’ll pick up on it quickly. And happy early birthday!
Kimber, I just finished King’s Fairy Tale earlier this month. It was a bit of a slow build but I loved the back half of it! If you have any other King recos, let me know! 😊

I live in Los Angeles with my rambunctious pup. When not working in my home office or at the actual office, I spend my time reading, catching up on movies and shows, and eating out with friends. I love reading romance, mystery/thrillers, fantasy, and have recently gotten more into horror.
Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Looking forward to next year’s uno! And if anyone recommends other reading challenges between now and then, let me know! 😊

All updated on GR shelf and the tracking sheet.
I'm still on track to wrap up Vladimir tomorrow, but any of these three could be used for the mini prompt Vladimir is slotted in (#30, one or more men on the cover).

The first half of this book felt really slow, and I struggled with it a bit, especially Molly. The pace in the second half of the book picked up a bit. But my expectations coming into this one were high, so it fell a bit flat.

Whoops, forgot to tag it, but it's in my uno shelf now.
I'm on track to wrapping up The Maid tonight and Vladimir and Hound of the Baskervilles by the end of the month. I'll likely be able to squeeze in one more audiobook (especially since I'm helping my sister drive cross country at the end of the month), but I'll need to iron those details out over the weekend.

I really didn't like this one for about 90% of the book. The writing style was a big drawback and I also didn't like the narrator. But then the last bit of it left me wanting to see how the story continues. So two stars instead of the original one.
