88432 Yup, finished mine up earlier today and just added it in!

88432 Hi Everyone! I just updated our team sheet and we're all set with this month's cards. We have a few more mini prompts that need to be completed (one of which is mine) - 17, 22, 25, 29. If any of your recent reads that didn't make it into the mini could fit for these prompts, let me know!

Congratulations on a strong Uno performance this year! We're currently in third place, so we might be able to secure it with our last mini prompts added in.

88432 Glad you found a book that worked for that prompt. I have never been able to grasp the MacGuffin concept, so I'm glad someone else was able to work that one in 😅

Exciting that you wrapped two books this weekend! Was the other one a good one? I also finished a couple, one which fit for a green cover and I'd gotten for free on audible. So now we only have 2 color covers left unclaimed (and no green ones 😁)!

88432 I found a green cover! And the best part is it's short 😁. I slotted it in for 5 Green, but it also works for Skip Green.

88432 Alright team, wanted to share a quick update on where we stand after getting the most recent cards in. We're doing really well with the cards! Keep an eye out for opportunities for 7 and Reverses, as we only have a couple so far. And we still have some open color cards as well.

Feel free to also start claiming some of the mini prompts - there are quite a few! Some I think we'll need to fill in as we go - I've got a couple from the library coming up that I'll need to figure out where I can fit them in once I start reading them (like The Bullet Swallower).

88432 Thanks, Jenny! We'll get those added into the main sheet.

88432 The April mini challenge has been posted!

Take a look through and reach out if you have any questions. This one is a bit more involved than the last 2, but I'm excited to start finding some books that'll fit!

Oh no, I'm so sorry! I hope the next few days go by quickly so you all can be together!

88432 Same! Work was nuts! One of my roughest weeks.

How's everyone's first week of April going? Besides crazy work, I finished Pretty Girls and it was a lot. Great, but VERY heavy. I started Big Swiss a couple of days ago - it's weird, but funny. And I keep trying to read The Fury, but can't get through more than a couple of pages at a time - I'm not sure I'll be able to get through it. And this is random, but I recently started coloring, which has been so soothing. I'm hooked!

How's everyone else doing?

88432 Whoops, I may have missed that The Ex Vows was already in your shelf. Sorry about that!
Mar 29, 2024 03:18PM

88432 I have two for Part 1 that I am wrapping up this weekend. Sophie, will you be able to wrap up Annie Bot? If so, then I think we're all set!

Jenny, could you add The Ex Vows to your Uno shelf when you get a chance, please?
Mar 28, 2024 03:15PM

88432 Got it. Given the questions the moderators were coming back with, I think it might be best to swap it out. Jamie's A Court of Mist and Fury works perfectly, so I'm going to make that switch.

Thanks again for confirming! And sorry for all that back and forth.

88432 UPDATE

We are all set with the main March cars! Great job everyone getting all these reads done!

For the mini challenge, all of the Part 1 prompts have been taken/assigned and we only have one open Part 2 prompt. There are five Part 1 books left to be completed and two Part 2 prompts.

How is everyone feeling about wrapping those up? I am about 20 pages away from finishing one (Under Color of Law, an Amazon First Reads that's been surprisingly riveting) and will be wrapping up my other two this weekend.

And the April worksheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...) has been added to our tracking doc, so feel free to start claiming the color/overload cards. I'm pretty excited about the overload cards - it'll be nice to switch up the cover colors a bit. I need to see what cards I want to plan for, but I'm leaning towards reading Bride next month. Not sure it'll be my cup of tea, but a lot of people seem to be liking it, so fingers crossed!

Fantastic! I'll add mine in for Part 2 😊

88432 Jenny, circling back on the page count for The Lake of Lost Girls, was the 248 what was written out in the ebook's pages or through an app like Calibre? I just want to triple confirm this to ensure we don't have any problems with this being one of our reads for the month. Thanks!

I actually just finished a book with orange letters that I hadn't added to the tracking sheet. So I can tag in for this prompt or can leverage it for the open Margarita one. Sarah, let me know if you want me tag in!
