~BONUS Easter Mini Challenge~
This is an optional and BONUS mini challenge for our UNO players for Easter! Books with a read date from Friday 25 March until 31 March count.
Easter Scavenger Hunt
Find these words... they are all products used to naturally dye eggs for Easter
For each book your team reads that contains one of these words in the text or title (plurals are acceptable), you can claim DOUBLE points for one of your cards.
Your TEAM can claim EACH WORD only once and you can only claim ONE word per book. This means your team has the ability to claim up to 20 cards as double points. Wow!!

◈ The usual book length rules apply, Books must be more than 100 pages in length and Children's books and Graphic Novels can not be used unless by word count they can be verified as more than 25,000 words using arbookfind.com
◈ Captains - to claim your double points, please change the points in the appropriate cell and your spreadsheets will be updated to enable you to track the words.

IT'S A PERKS ALPHABET READ-A-THON
As a group let's see what we can read in the month and have a Read-A-Thon with a twist!
How this works...
* Each book needs to follow the alphabet from the last one posted
* The Alphabet letter can be based on by genre, author, title, character names, narrator etc.
* As soon as you have a book that you have read in the month that can connect to the last one, post it with the reasons it follows the alphabet and the running tally for you, and for the group for the month, and let's see how many books we can read and connect in the month!

Books need to be marked as "read" between April 1 and April 30,2016. (It doesn't matter when you started)

Sorry captains, you will need to remove any of Kathleen's books from your s/sheet. But Christina's books read for March (started after the March 1 deadline) will count.
Current Points SpreadsheetNote: Current Points is only as up to date as the captains are at updating their spreadsheets
Some Captains update daily, others weekly, or somewhere in between!
Some only count points when hands are completed, others count points for all books as soon as read
So just use this as a guide as to where your team is up to :)

Goodreads makes sending individual messages quite difficult. As it limits the number of messages we can send AND we need to do the whole "I'm not a robot" business which makes it very time consuming. For that reason, I generally don't PM people unless they are missing in action and the captains haven't had any luck in getting in touch :)

Thanks Mods. ☺"I'm going to say no for the majority of non fiction books, (it opens the doors to books that have a zillion royals listed for example), unless of course the non fiction book is something like "Eat Pray Love" which is told like a novel with limited characters. I hope that makes sense!!
