Once you have finished a BINGO card, you can start a new thread in this folder to display your BINGO Buttons!

Please post here if you'd like to do a shout out to find team mates to play BINGO
If you want to join up together, then if one of you creates a discussion thread in this folder and then you can decide on a team name and get going, or wait for more players if you want a bigger team :)

To post this button to our BUTTON thread and/or your blog, use the code shown under this spoiler
(view spoiler) ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

A new button will be posted for each new BINGO card posted. Each button will match the colour of the card.
If you do a card more than once, you can display the button more than once, or list how many times you have completed - up to you!

How to Play
◈ Start a new discussion thread in this folder with your team name (or if playing individually, your name)
◈ Get "BINGO" by reading books for five squares horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to create a line (there are 12 possible lines). Books need to have a "read date" after the date you begin (start date doesn't matter).
◈ Only one book per square. (i.e. If you are playing in a team, you read books to cover the squares as a team)
◈ "Free Space" square means you can read any book
◈ There are no requirements on book lengths, or re-reads
◈ Once you or your team finish your BINGO card, you can play again, or move onto the next BINGO card (new cards will be posted progressively. Feel free to send your suggestions for cards to this moderator account!)
◈ You can copy this spreadsheet as a template to track your/your team's progress if you like
◈ Once you have finished your BINGO card, you can download our "Bingo Button" to display on your profile, your blog, or in our BINGO Button folder :)

IT'S A PERKS ALPHABET READ-A-THON
![]()
As a group let's see what we can read in the month and have a Read-A-Thon with a twist!
How this works...
* Each book needs to follow the alphabet from the last one posted
* The Alphabet letter can be based on by genre, author, title, character names, narrator etc.
* As soon as you have a book that you have read in the month that can connect to the last one, post it with the reasons it follows the alphabet and the running tally for you, and for the group for the month, and let's see how many books we can read and connect in the month!
EXAMPLE
Post 1:
Kristie posts:
A
Artemis Fowl (Title)

Kristie's tally - 1 book
Perks Group tally - 1 book
Post 2:
Karen Posts
B
Midnight Crossroad by Charlaine Harris (character Bobo Winthrop)

Karen's tally: 1 book
Perks group tally: 2 books
Post 3:
Kristie posts:
C
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare (title and author)

Kirstie's tally: 2 books
Perks group tally: 3 books
.... hopefully you get the idea....
NOTE: You can read any book of any length, children's books and graphic novels also count. Please just remember to check the tally of the book ahead of you and add up the tally as you post
Books need to be marked as "read" between June 1 and June 30,2016. (It doesn't matter when you started)

Please feel free to post your latest blog post within this thread for other bloggers and readers to visit you!
Here's a tip!
Don't just dump a link and leave. Let us know what your post is about ; connect with other bloggers here ; read their content and actively engage. Become a part of a community :)

Think about your favourite book, or a book you are reading now, and give us just one line from that book.
You can always post what it is about that line that you loved, or how it was important to the story.
Or, of course, you can just pick a random line!
Go...!
