Ever can't speak, his look stills her, makes her ache inside for him. Brayden always has this affect on her and she equally loves and hates the feeling. Kasper squirms out of his mum's arms and pulls on his dad's hand, he pulls him past Ever into the house, Ever still says nothing. Kasper pulls Brayden down to wisper quite loudly in his ear "Daddy, mummy doesn't like it, sssshhhhh, it's a secret...". Ever stands with her arms crossed over the front of the floor length strapless white dress.

Kol feels the rage build inside of him, he had no idea what he'll do, but it will be bad, incredibly blood bad. Kol drives crazy fast to the house and gets out bfore the car has even fully stopped moving. Kol slams the door shut and runs up to the front door, he still has the key. Kol unlocks the door and crashes inside loudly, thats when he hears it, the slash of breaking flesh and the sounds of Rory in pain. Kol had seen Rory in pain, lots of different kinds of pain, from a broken wrist, the first time they had sex, child birth, but never had she made a noise quite so broken as she did now. Kol felt something other than anger take over, Kol pretty much blacked out from it when he runs in on the scene with Rory on the floor. "Rory..." he breathes. And thats it, Kol takes Chris down with one well aimed punch to the face. Kol takes hold of Chris's shirt and pulls him up so Kol can punch him again and again in the face, his face being broken. Kol has the sense to look behind him, still holding an only semi concious Chris, at Rory, "Ror, speak to me, are you alright? damn it Ror...", she looks over at him but says nothing. Kol continues to beat the shit out of Chris, he can't stop, he fully blackes out for a while...

Kol holds onto his son tighter, the anger coiling inside of him like a venomous snake. A pissed off snake. "NO! Don't ever tink that Jace, no one gets to hit you. No one gets to hit anyone i love, not ever. Your so special J, i don't know what i'd do without you, or what i'd do if anyone hurt you" says Kol strongly, although it is a lie. Kol knows what he would do to anye who hurt is son, he would kill them; he is pretty sure he will kill Chris. Kol also knows he should calm down, but he can't, Kl stands up suddenly, pulling Jace up with him, "We're going now Jace, im taking you to stay with aunt Ever for a while whilt i go...talk with your mum" he says decisevly. Kol calls out to Kaiden and gets his sons shoes and coats on. Kol can tell Jace is nervous, but Kol nods reassuringly at him and takes them both out to the car, Kaiden cries, shouts he wants to stay with his daddy. Kaiden is a daddys boy just like Jace is a mummys boy. But Kol says he will get Kaide a presant if he goes to Ever's and Kaiden calms down slightly. Kol takes his sons to Ever's still burning with rage he didn't even know was possible.

Kol can see Jace tearing up, and even though the rage threatens to over spill inside of Kol he tries to hold it together for Jace. Kol pulls Jace into his arms, usually Jace shys away from affection now from his parents but this time Jace lets Kol hold him. "Don't be frightened Jace, my son, your dad's going to make everything better, i won't let that...bastard hurt you, Kaiden or your mum, not ever again" says Kol, he cn't regret swearing, he cant call that bastard anything other than that. Kol tries so hard to control his temper like he was taught to in his anger management classes, but this time it's all to much. No matter how angry Kol had ever gotten he had never hit a woman, definitely not Rory, it is a line he would never cross.

Orion's smirk only widens, "Smart isn't really the right word. I'd say observant...too much really, i notice things...things others don't see. Sometimes, having grown up in this town, that if it had been a hundred years earlier they would have burned me like a witch" he laughs lightly, "Glad to get out...but i did miss the wishes".

Kol tries to conceal his anger from Jace, not wanting to frighten him. Jace loves his mum dearly and Kol knows that, Kol takes hold of Jace's arms gently and looks into his face, "Don't lie to me J, it's ok to be scared, part of growing up is being scared of things, but we have to fight back the things that scare us so we can move on. So please tell me what's been going on, because unless i know i can't do anything about it" says Kol calmly but firmly. Kol hd always been fun dad, someone who loved to play with his sons on the beach or in the livng room, anywhere, part of being a writer means that his imagination is as wild as his childrens, but at the same time he had always been firm with his sons, never letting them be disrespectful, telling them off when they did things wrong, his stern voice was much used and always seems to work on both his sons.

Damien smiles and finds himself hoping to see the girl again. He reminds himself that she is quite young...not normally his type at all...but there is something about her that...inspires him, and Damien is drawn to anything that inspires him.

Kol sits up straight, he tells Kaiden to go find some more chocolate in the ridge so Kol can talk privately with Jace. Kol turns Jace to face him, "Jace, what's been going on with mum and...chris?". Just saying his name makes Kol feel more anger than he'd ever felt imaginable, it had been hard enough to think of Chris...touching Rory, in the intimate way Kol had for so long, he could just barely stop himself from tearing that arsehole apart. But now finding out that Chris may be hurting his Rory Kol is filling with rage, white hot rage.

Ever is upstairs, she looks in the mirror at herself. Kasper is on the bed, he frowns and says "I don't like it...daddy won't like it". Ever cringes at his words, she looks down at her wedding dress, it is beautiful, but Ever still feels so wrong, like she did before. But this time there's nowhere to run. Ever says "I know, but James does...", Kasper looks ready to say something else but then Ever hears Brayden at the door. She wants to take the dress off but it would take to long. Kasper jumps up grinning for his dad and Ever can't help but smile, Brayden and Kasper had really bonded lately. Ever gets her self downstairs carrying Kasper, it's hard work wih the dress. Ever opens the door to Brayden, she feels like dying whenever she sees him, it's the way he looks at her, like he hates her.

Kol wants to run after Rory...he wants a lot of things involving Rory, but just then Kaiden comes in and looks up at Kol with his huge eyes. Kol smiles lovingly and sweeps Kaiden into his arms. Kol carries Kaiden into the living room where Jace is sitting with his chocolate, Kaidne had already scoffed his. Kol sits on the floor with Kaiden beside Jace and pulls Jace into his arms too. Maybe he should take them full time, but with work he'd have to get a babysitter. But the idea of having them around all the time does make him smile.

Anger and longing swell up inside of Kol like a tidal wave of feeling, he can't handle it, he feels like he'll burst with everything rushing through him. Kol shakes his head and says "You 'better' be telling me what the hell is going on. If it's affecting you then it might affect our sons, i won't allow them to be emotionally scarred, not like we were". Kol can't keep the anger from his voice although he isn't really angry at Rory, he's frustrated by the situation. Kol reaches up a hand to her face, he doesn't quite touch her, it would be too much, "What is with the make up Ror, you hardly ever wear make up, at least not this kind, this isn't you. The woman i love made fun of this shit. I can't believe you thought i wouldn't notice, maybe you fool others, but i spent hours upon hours staring into your face, dreaming about it, using a rain forest worth of paper to write about it. I know every detail of every part of you. Every part of your body" Kol can't help but look Rory up and down slowly until his eyes reach her face "I've been letting it go, but i can't anymore. I don't just know you outside, i know you inside as well, the very core of you, of MY Rory". Kol moves forward without even realising his breath hot on her face, "I know my Rory is still there but i feel like she's slipping away and it hurts so much to watch. Losing you was the worst thing that ever happened to me, but it was the right thing for us. Me losing you i can just about survive, but watching you lose yourself is something i can't stand" he says.

Kol frowns slightly, she is acting so unRory like that it almost makes him laugh, "Ror...what's going on with you. You would never...i mean in your own words you said that your not a lady your a woman. Yelled it in fact...in my face" says Kol, he can't stop a small laugh from coming out. Kol tilts his head and lifts his hand, he gives in a little and brushes his hand over the skin of her arm to put his drink down. Even just the whisper of her skin o his makes Kol shiver with pleasure, he hides it from Rory, he doesn't want her to know how much she still affects him.

(Im thinking either a week or a few months when Ever is due to marry James, i know it sounds dramatic but i think drama is needed so we don't get bored ;) xxx

Damien reaches out and takes her arm in his grasp, "I hope you like the book.....Kylie", his name rolls off of his tounge. Damien nods and lets go of her.
