I've just read Wait for It at the end of the year and I've got Dear Aaron on tap for this month. I love her slow burn. I've become slightly obsessed with her books lately. I'm slowing down because I'm about to run out of books by her. She can't write fast enough for me. LOL

I really liked this one Lusie. It's cool too because we get to see more of them (just little glimpses) in other MZ books. All of her characters have some link to other characters.

I read a few books for this month:

More Than This by Jay McLean
This was angsty but I did enjoy it. I gave it *4 STARS*. I think that Kayla had the right of things, trying to get herself together before landing in her forever type of relationship.

I felt so horrible for her how her life just fell apart. And James was truly a piece of work. I have no idea how he thought things were going to go for him with what he was doing.

Megan on the other hand, she needed a serious beat down.

Then we have to talk about that ending. Logan? Seriously. Were they talking about someone else at the end? Let's hope so. Now I'll have to get the next book.


The next book I read was Off Limits by Sawyer Bennett and it was a *4 STAR* read.
I wish we could have gotten more after they reconciled but otherwise, I thought this was so good. I really loved the way that Nix was honest about his issues even when he wasn't ready to fully own up to them yet. the ending was sweet and had me wanting to go immediately to the next book, but it's got to wait a bit.



My last book was Pucked Love byHelena Hunting. It was a *4.5 STAR* read for me.

This was probably my most favorite book of the series. I'm sad because it may be the last. :(

I thought this was the perfect blend of sports and romance and kept me entertained throughout the book.

I just finished a football (soccer) romance that was really good on audio. I love all the British accents: Challenge.

I read The Mummy Case by Elizabeth Peters.

It's funny, I don't usually like historical fiction but I have thing about Victorian heroines who buck societal norms. And Amelia Peabody is one of those types of heroines.

This book in finds Amelia and her husband on another archaeological expedition but this time with their very precocious son. And of course, there's a mystery that seems to find them and they have to solve it.

This book was funny and entertaining. Their son, Ramses, was a complete trip.

I will definitely continue on with this series.

It's interesting to me to see how much my tastes have changed too. There are books on my list that I really don't know if I still want to read. For next year's list, I will cull the TBR too to get rid of some of those books I'm really no longer interested in.

Maybe I'll make a "no longer interested shelf", so I don't delete them completely but know that I was interested at some point but now anymore. Who knows I may become interested in them again later.

I read Geekerella. It was adorable. I loved the cosplay aspect to it and thought that it made the retelling more interesting.

I listened to it on audio and that that the narrators did a good job.
