Oh...now I understand...I could read a #6 and get 19+6 = 25 and use it. (My actual unfilled numbers are 7, 9, 7, X, 6, X, 5, 2, 5, 2, X, X, 4, 9, 4, 8, X, 6, 4, 8, 8, 4, 5, X. X = already completed.)

I do read a lot of series books, but most of the numbers are the beginning ones...or past 10

I am thinking that I cannot use the #19 that I read since I only have a 9 needed, and there is no 10 or 1.

February was basically a no-go for me.

I am still doing the started but not yet finished owned books in my count or I would never get this game done! However, I owned 3 in February's plan and am only counting 2...books I started. (And I did finish the started owned books from January, which were already counted.)

The Disappearance at Pere-Lachaise by Claude Izner

This was not one of my planned Historical Shelf Bender books. In fact, I read it for another group's challenge. Still, I seem to be reading anything and everything with no historical link this month...except this one.

I do like Claude Izner's mysteries. They feature a bookseller in France, who gets caught up in the ins and outs of life in Paris. In this book, a former lover goes missing, a young girl he was helping is killed, a new lover has moved in, his step-father returns and his clerk is trying to solve it all before the bookseller does for approval.

My biggest issues with these books have nothing to do with the writing nor the story. Again, it is the many place names and character names that I do not know how to pronounce or read. It makes the flow of the story interruptive for me. 3*
