I am leaning toward a reread of The Worm Ouroboros. I never gave it a review.

Mark Lawrence is leading an interesting contest, turning 10 review-bloggers into agents for self-pub authors of Sword & Sorcery. This excludes small-press even. The idea is to have the 10 review-bloggers choose the best of 250 submissions. The prize? Free advertising, and association with Mark Lawrence.

Submissions end this Fri Mar 6th...or until the max 250 submissions are entered.

Orc-readers unite! You have some competition from the GOBLIN crew....but you have a head-start since many of you began discussing Orcs already (Link to previous ORC thread).

With members of this group writing about ORCS, there should be plenty to talk about. Any short story, work-in-progress, classic, shared-universe, etc. will do. (Warhammer, Forgotten Realms, Tolkien). Are you an orciphile? orc-phobic? Well there is plenty monster-erotica that is fair game too...

Anyway, pick a side: ORCS or GOBLINS!

Goblin Readers: the Poll winner was E.R. Eddison's classic The Worm Ouroboros, so that is the default choice here. And even though his King Gaslark of Goblinland, and the goblin Lord Gro, appear more like humans than today's stereotype... we welcome any topic on GOBLINS to counter the other concurrent groupread on ORCS.

So decide...are you goblin-phillic? goblin-phobic? Or are you orc-loving-scum?

The book will retail at $29.99, but as a Kickstarter Special, you can get it signed and shipped for $25 (or $20 for the first several folks who are fast). It should contain 7 comics in one book.

There are a bunch of Kickstarter options...scroll while looking on the right hand side.

The eBooks are available already as kindles , epubs, iBooks, etc.

The kickstarter is to make a hardcover collection. The PDF is likely the format being sent to printers.
