I need to catch up on my reading. I still have issues 2 and 3 to read.

Inspired from my viewing of Spine of Night, I watched Fire & Ice for the first time in decades. It still looks great, but the story was weaker than memory served. The plot is actually puddle deep. The characters are cardboard cutouts.
But what a role call of talent: Bakshi, Frazetta, Roy Thomas, Gerry Conway even Thomas Kinkaid.
Seeing that Roy Thomas co-wrote the script, I hoped for more. It’s still worth a watch, but not as awesome-sauce as I remembered.
I might watch Wizards soon. To the best I can recollect, I have never watched Wizards.

Backed. I knew I would from the first whisper of the announcement; however, I waited as I needed to decide between physical or e-form. I have every issue from #1 to present in physical form, and they are lovely, from the covers to that awesome feeling, thick interior pages, but, I need to downsize, so e-form it is at +9 more issues.

I chose to read (Re-read) the best Conan pastiche: Roy Thomas penned Savage Sword of Conan.

@Seth, that isn’t the sort of essay I was hoping for. I was considering tracking down the single volumes, but it seems I am nearly as well off with what I have.

@Seth,
I posted this question to your review of QotMC, but will post here for the group:
Did the single volume edition you read have an introduction and were the illustrations by StarTwo?

My just in time addition to this group read.

Thank you Seth. I was curious as to when the KS would land

Concur. It was a strong issue

Semi-active member: I’m happy with the group. Any complaints I have are technology related. Like Jason, I am primarily participating through the app, and the app is horrendous.
Thank you for the good hard work. I don’t always participate in the group reads, as my reading time is limited and precious, but I often lurk in the group reads I do not participate in.

I have read much Bracket. Stark is one of my favs.

I’m currently reading book 2. I started last night.

DMR does a great service to fans by taking gambles others will not. Thoughtful reviews are deserved.

Found the time to post a few thoughts on my latest DMR read.

@Jamie. Leigh Brackett is awesomeness

@Richard, I have been curious about that one. Let me know your opinion.

Also currently reading Prehistoric Adventures. I finished the first half of it a couple of days ago and will soon launch into a re-read of REH’s “Spear and Fang”

@Joseph, speak to me of this Appendix N book club
