801397 I finished it and I absolutely loved it!
801397 At 60% now and the questions do indeed keep coming!
801397 I'm on page 105 of 523 (kindle), about 20%, and really enjoying it so far. I'm finding it an easy and engaging read. And I have so many questions.
801397 I've noticed that already. I keep asking "What's going on? Tell me more!" but it's just a little at a time leaving many questions. Granted i'm not as far in yet but enjoying it already and wanting to know more is a good sign!
801397 I have started it! I'm 9% in. I'm enjoying it already.
801397 I'm sorry Latasha. I hope you enjoy it though. :)

801397 Please note it's not super scary. It's for general audiences. There is some mild violence.

801397 I like to write as a hobby, for my own reasons. I've finally posted something! It does have creatures in it. I've posted it on Archive of Our Own (AO3) and Watttpad. On AO3 you can even download it to read it offline. It's 28 epub pages.

Summary: Christmas morning kids open their presents, only to scream in horror. Someone has ruined Christmas. Who? Why? Where is Santa Claus?

I'd link to AO3 and Wattpad here but Goodreads won't let me, because other sites, however my review of it here contains the links to AO3 and Wattpad (and you can count it on Goodreads if you want).

There's no pressure :).
801397 I plan on joining in too. I haven't read any Peter Straub but have wanted to. I think I heard Stephen King recommends this one? I've good things about it anyway.
801397 Ghost Story by Peter Straub has won December's group read! This is the thread to discuss Ghost Story in December. Please use spoiler tags and chapter/page numbers when talking about the book.

801397 Hope you enjoy it too! I didn't even dislike any of the stories! Usually i'd dislike at least 1.
801397 There are monsters here - 3 stars

I can totally see this being 5 stars for many and I do appreciate the message! It just didn't completely work for me, because of reasons I won't get into it, but I still liked it and think it's a good story.

8 stories. Average for me 4.69. So 5 stars on here :). I have no idea if i've ever rated a collection or anthology 5 stars on here before? 4 yes. Not sure about 5.
801397 :) I've never enjoyed a collection (or anthology either) this much before! I've enjoyed them yes but usually there is at least a miss or 2. I think I just have one story left.
