Virtual Party! (54 new)

58421 I guess I'll introduce myself although I must admit I'm terribly shy and would love to sit in that corner over there and just sketch in my trusty notebook until the party is over. I am wearing a purple dress my sister sewed for me. Have you seen my two brothers anywhere? I bet the youngest one is at the dessert table again. He's always had such a sweet tooth. Oh, look - there's my grandfather! Off I go.

58421 Age 25 ... Aww to be 25 again! Or even 30 again! lol I am 38 now and I can attest to the old adage that time really does fly. To be honest, I like the same kind of books now I did then for the most part - an eclectic mix of classics, young adult and middle-grade fiction, and mysteries and thrillers. Oh, and anything by James Patterson or R.L. Stine, of course, lol

Some of my favorites to this day are: anything Nancy Drew, Anne of Green Gables, Adam Bede, Along Came a Spider, Pet Sematary, The Knife... and the list goes on...

58421 You could also add a 'pass along the book' option once you've read it. So fewer book copies will need to be printed if we're sharing books.

If that still doesn't work, Zeejane I would be happy to help you put together a challenge for the unofficial challenges folder. :)

Thanks for sharing your idea!
There are two things I can think of that make your idea less feasible for an "official" quarterly challenge for Q3.

It actually could work considering old books are 'recycled' and recycling is a big part of saving our planet. It's a loose interpretation but I do like the idea behind it.
