In that case an even bigger welcome to you! Yes you're right here and depending on your preferences you can either update your original message and post the updated messages in the format: Update to msg #18: 1/2 ... or skip updating original message if you don't like. Just in case you're using mobile app only - you won't be able to update your original message anyway it's only possible on the desktop version.

And don't worry about the fact you don't know which books you'll read for the two tasks some of us are planner and can work easier if they make a list and read the books other prefer to read what the mood strikes and hope it will fit a task or even like me something in between. I like to look books up and plan for those tasks I know I'll struggle to find anything but otherwise I just pick the first one that fits the bill and if I read later in the month one that I like for this task even better I sometimes exchange the books afterwards.

So please do it the way you like best, as long as in your oppinion the book fits have fun.

A last thing, in case you read more than the two books you planned you can always report them as well - you're not limited to these two. In such a case you can either report in the way Update to msg #18: 3/2 ... or if you prefer it raise your goal with each book and make it Update to msg #18: 3/3 (raised goal). I can work with almost everything as long as I understand what you mean and if I have any questions I'll respond to your message then.
