51477 I'm 25% into Belong To You (Cole, #1) by Vi Keeland , and it's as if the Beauty From Pain (Beauty, #1) by Georgia Cates story was moved to Hawaii, chopped to make the sex scenes arrive sooner, and exaggerated for dramatic flair (when a guy's estimate of how many sexual escapades he's had is 500-1000 he may have a psychological issue that requires meds). I honestly thought I was being punked for a moment there. Ah, well, aside from this and some editing needed, it's keeping me entertained. =)

And if I get bored, I can always stare at that close-up of Pepe...*le sigh*

I thought I'd love the Shadow Falls series, and Awake at Dawn was actually my favorite, but it just went downhill from there for me. By the fourth book of the same old same old, I gave up on them. Hopefully you won't feel the same way!

51477 Finished another by the fantabulous Ione Passion Unleashed (Demonica, #3) by Larissa Ione , and of course it was deliciously sexy and disturbing! LOVE that series!!

Starting Belong To You (Cole, #1) by Vi Keeland and checking another one off my 'currently reading' with At Grave's End (Night Huntress, #3) by Jeaniene Frost ...yay Cat and Bones!!!

Yeah, Truth wasn't shocking as much as mind-boggling. It was more the brilliance of the twisted puzzle that Aleatha created for the plot that I loved, plus of course the emotions that she FINALLY brought out. I can see what you mean about the shock factor, though. Consequences definitely makes your jaw drop! LOL

Ugh, yet another series I need to get back to. I have had the sequel sitting on my counter for months but it keeps getting shoved back. Glad you're enjoying it!

SO glad to hear this, because I started reading the sequel and when I realized they were being pulled apart it just pissed me off and I stopped reading. I decided I'd wait until the last one came out to see what people say before I got back to the series, because it was an absolute fave of mine when it first came out! Glad to know I can get back to it soon. =)

51477 I finished He Belongs to Me by Theresa Rizzo and I am honestly shaking mad right now. I'm at a complete loss as to what to rate this, because my jerk reaction is to say it's a 1-star, but the author has potential. This story has the most infuriating characters and the the most maddening plot I've ever come across, and the ending was completely unbelievable and unsatisfying after all the hell you go through putting up with their crap. Ugh, I need a drink.

I'm on to Breathe by Elena Dillon , and I'm crossing my fingers it'll take some of the edge off my foul mood right now. ={

Sorry to hear it hun; I was hoping you'd enjoy that one but we all have different likes and dislikes! =) Anathema was really good, it's different. Nothing mind-blowing, but enjoyable!

51477 I started Renegade (The Captive, #2) by Erica Stevens , because after Captured I just couldn't not find out what happened between Braith and Aria!! Intense and kinda sexy, I'm very much liking this sequel!!

It's a great quick read, very similar to Bella's in some ways but has it's own separate appeal that has me really excited to keep reading!

51477 Okay, so fans of Bella Forrest's A Shade of Vampire (A Shade of Vampire, #1) by Bella Forrest series, you MUST read Captured (The Captive, #1) by Erica Stevens !! I just flew through it tonight, it's a dystopian story along the same line as the Shade series, with an ending that leaves you desperate for more just like ASoV did!! Crap, now I've got another freaking series I'm stuck on....
