51477 Shit and it sounds like i'm in for a seriously angry evening as i read on! Ugh! Lol

51477 Ok, i'm almost halfway...i'm hooked like an addict, but yeah i'm seeing the same issues. It's absolutely breaking my heart that they just gave up, that Noah left for 26 YEARS and now this is happening! God, i wish it hadn't been so long because it's obvious that they will never share a child together in that way again at this point, and SO much has passed. I love it i just wish the timeline wasn't so ridiculously long, i don't understand the reasoning behind it...

Well 4 stars is still worth a read for sure, I need to start this series soon.

51477 OKay I'm only about 15% in, not much reading time this week. I'm so torn with this, the whole 26 year thing threw me (for some reason I forgot this was a much delayed reunion love story) so I'm playing catch-up with what to think of Jules and Hayden. Of course, immediate dislike of what I've seen of perfect Shayna. lol It's innate for me, even after all those years my instincts tell me they need to be together. But a baby in the mix?? Ugh, this is going to be painful...

Couldn't have said it better myself, my dear! I'm not afraid to admit I get completely invested to the point of obsession for my favorites, which means my emotions go with the story. That's what makes a truly incredible read, IMO.

Yeah, same. Although, every once in awhile I come across one that is truly memorable and makes me have hope that there will be many more great stories to come from the likes of them.

51477 GAH! Didn't realize it was starting already so I'm already behind! I'll try to pick it up tomorrow!

I'm worried the first book will just tear me to shreds, based on the synopsis. Want to see the movie though so it's got to be done!! LOL

You mean UDS? It didn't make me cry, but it does have some scenes that really stab at your heart.

I'm only a few chapters in; it's good so far, but not grabbing me like I was hoping. Need to push through it so I'm hoping the humor I loved in her other books gets me hooked soon!

Yeah, sometimes I wonder what effect all of these indie books flooding the market will have. I mean, don't get me wrong, there are a TON of great books out there, but it seems like there are just books popping up everywhere now to the point no one could ever possibly get to them!

Me either, between this and Iniquity, I'm seriously itching for Amy's work these days!

51477 Well after absolutely loving Under Different Stars (Kricket, #1) by Amy A. Bartol , I was bound to have a disappointment. Tried Tousle Me A New Adult Parody by Lucy V. Morgan , which I knew was supposed to be a spoof, but ugh it just didn't work for me. Instead of being a fun jab at romance novels, it was a childish and often disturbingly raunchy read. DNF for me.

On to Fire & Flood (Fire & Flood, #1) by Victoria Scott , hoping this one's better!

Oh giiiiirl, you HAVE to read this! I've been so stuck in my contemp rut and needed a great YA read, this was PERFECT!! Dystopian/paranormal storyline with a teen heroine that I just adored, and it was a lot harder on the heart than I was expecting which I loved. Can't recommend it enough!
