This is the 2nd book in this series. It is Christian fiction and like a lot of Christian fiction the characters are all unbelieavably good with few faults. And in the end everyone acepts Jesus Christ as their Savior and live happily ever after. Which of course is not realistic. Saying that, I did stay up all night to read this book, ok until 1:20am but I started reading at 8:30pm. And I am not sure why. I did not like the authors writing style. She jumped around to other characters in Tucker Mills telling their story which most the time had nothing to do with Conner and Reese's story. This really annoyed me. It was an easy read and required very little from me other than to keep reading. I did not care for the characters and I will probabley forget that had read the book in 5 years. I keep forgeting the name of the book. If your are in the mood for a lite easy read with nothing objectionable then I would recommend this book. No bad language, sex or violence. In fact the characters had no qustionable morals. The two "bad" people either die or turns out to be crazy. It is part of a triology and I think may be the 2nd book but I didnt feel like I was missing anything having skipped the 1st book
I love Harry Potter. I didnt even know who he was until I went home for the Holidays and my nephew wanted to watch the movie (please Aunt Michael ...How could I say no) he sat on my lap for the whole movie (he had already seen it a dozen times). He was so excited about it that I feel in love with the movies. After the 2nd movie came out, i loved it so much that I ended buying the 1st 4 books and reading them all in one weekend. I feel in love with the character and fan been a crazy fan ever since
This is the second Dean Koontz book I read. I had hurt my knee and was bed/couch boubd for a week and my mom had a box of books she gave me to read and this was one of them. I think it started my love of horror books. I was 11 at the time. I had never been so scared in my life. ;)
