This was a great story of one girl's coming of age story. We see everything through her eyes as she realises that she may not know her family as well as she thought. And learning something about her self in the process.

I read all the books. I keep thinking why does everyone like these, am I missing something. Then I thought well I dont like fantasy but I have read a lot of other fatasy and enjoyed it. So I figured everyone else is wrong.

I am not a fan of the Hobbit or
the Lord of the Rings series.

When a 4000 year old mummy is let loss in modren day Toronto there are only 3 people who can stop it. Ex-cop turned private investigator Vicki Nelsen, a 450 year old vampire Henry Fitzroy and Vicki's former partner Police Detective Mike Celluci. They have a few problems first Henry and Mike dont like each other and are not happy with working together second how do you stop a 4000 year old mummy from turning everyone in Toronto into mindless zombies to worship his god.
I did not like this book at first it took me awhile to get into it. That maybe due to the fact that it is the third book in a series and I have not read the other books and felt disconnected from the characters until I was half way through the book. I think if i was to read the whole series I would have enjoyed it more. I think if you like other vampire books you will like this one as well

In this book Stephen Hawkings give us account of the history of physics and mans understanding of it. I am not sure how to describe this book it is about Physics after all my least favorite subject of all time. Stating that I did enjoy the book. Stephan Hawkings gives us an account that I think most people will be able to follow even if you have never taken a Physics class.

Thomas Friedman was a journalist in Beirut and Lebanon during the 1980s. This book is the story of what he saw during that time. Friedman’s first hand account of the horrors that he saw and the continuing strength of the people in the Middle East is amazing. He gives us not only the history of this always changing land but a better understanding of the people who are fighting on both sides and those caught in the crossfire.

I am glad that I can help!!

Prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor the Phillipines was an American Terriorty. Many American families and soliders lived there. Then the Japanese attack Peral Harbor and start a campaign to roust all the European and Americans out of the Asian countries and the pacific. These led to a bunch of American and some British, Dutch and other countries soilders being trapped in the Phililipines with no way out. The end up surronding to the Japanese and are taken prisioner. As true in most accounts of any POW camp the atrocities that were commited are beyond understanding. Eventually the U.S. returns to the Phillipines and decided to launch the most daring rescue mission ever to be launched.

This is the story of the Spanish Influenza outbreak that occured globally in 1918. The story recounts the changes in medicine that occured the 50 years before and how they helped with combating the desease. It also talkes about world events that made it spread faster (WWI) the political events that contributed to the outbreak and how the medical community responded. Not a light read.

This is the story of Ted Bundy written by a close friend of his. Who never suspected that the gentle man she knew had a secret life. Scary story that will make you look at your friends differently

We can suggest books but the list is taken from a book called The complete Idiots guide to the Ultimate Reading List. Once you have read a book on this list start a new thread with your review.

My library doesnt have it but I added it to my to-read list so I will remember it

My criteria was pure simple entertainment. I hated the movie.

This is one of my favorite books.

I like the variety you get with Poe. Mystery, horror, romance.
