50319 Yup. I'm not doing a good job reading either... Minecraft is taking up a lot of time... I guess I'll read now...

50319 If you posted it in another group I probably didn't see it. This is the only group I really look at anymore. I'm just reading messages and keeping track of books now...

50319 The first three Episodes of Star Wars have the worse plot ever. It makes absolutely no sense.

50319 Yes, yes you should. :D

Wait. I'm confused. Did you read all the books or just the first one?

50319 You have great goals Sammy. That matters above you goals about succeeding in life, and that's a fact. :D

50319 Yeah. Aragorn was a good strong character and willing to fulfill his destiny in the books, but the movie he was a little way too selfless.

But you're not too lazy to read The Hunger Games and Harry Potter? I'm offended. :(

50319 I thought you said you only read the first one?
Sep 06, 2011 03:17PM

50319 Emily has read all of LOTR as well and Keti is working on it. It doesn't sound like she saw all the movies either. It looks like there are three or four "official" geeks commenting, but I know there are more.

Has anyone actually READ all of the LotR or Silmarillion?"

50319 But in The Lord of the Rings, he doesn't even start until the beginning of the Fellowship (only extended edition does it show that) and he gives his book to Frodo at Rivendell in the Fellowship of the Ring so I don't understand what Peter Jackson is thinking. He's gonna mess the whole thing up....

50319 Well, yeah, but do you think we're gonna read that? Actually, I'm gonna read all the appendices this time rather than just the timeline and the family trees. It's probably different than in the movie. I think most of it is after they're married too, but they shouldn't have included in the movies.

50319 You need to read all of The Hobbit. That just takes a day or two to read.

50319 I need to read The Unfinished Tales.....
