Read one a week. Aim for that at least. If you're like me, you'll get it done in three months that way, lol.

50319 Hi Ipek, thanks for joining!

50319 Hi Tom! As long as you're fascinated by his world, you're fine. ;)

Even if you weren't but still only read the Hobbit, you'd still be fine.

50319 I like the story of Turin. Beren and Luthien is my second favorite. It is pretty amazing. You read The Silmarillion and it seems that the tale of the ring doesn't even matter at all. It barely seems like the same story, lol.

50319 You could join my Sci-fi fantasy group. We have done so much reading. I haven't been active lately though. I've kinda turned it over to Jonathan and Xdyj. Xdyj isn't in this group so you probably wouldn't know him.

50319 Hi people! I might just name my daughter Eowyn then, lol. Hadley, that's very awesome of you to name your daughter that.

Twenty times! Cool!

50319 Hi Lucy! They are quite amazing!

50319 I keep forgetting........... Did you read all the books yet?
Sep 29, 2011 06:23PM

50319 Which stinks because I like the scouring of the shire. ;(
Sep 28, 2011 07:27PM

50319 My parents didn't let me read/watch them for a long time, and after seeing the first two, I could kind of understand why... I don't think I would want my kids getting into sorcery when they're young......

50319 I didn't realize he put in so much work to the Scouring of the Shire. My dad and grandpa are both upset that they didn't have the scouring of the shire in the movies. My Grandpa is more upset and actually said he didn't like the ending......
Sep 22, 2011 06:56PM

50319 Well that's cool... I'll probably end up reading them back to back, but I don't know if I'd read that to my kids....
Sep 22, 2011 06:45PM

50319 I think I'll make a quiz when I'm done.

This is definitely a book I will read to my kids (when I get married and have some).

50319 It is really good so far! Kind of intense. It does involve a lot of chemistry, aka my least favorite class, but at least I'm not the one solving the equations... ;)
