Suzie tortures Arachne into having more children for her. Arachne finds that Suzie is a vampire of some sort and she has to lie to Markos about what had really happened down in Suzie's room.

She started to cry. "I couldn't." The pain from her scratching her arm seeped into her mind, making her go numb with sheer hurt.

Arachne opened her eyes the slightest bit and jerked in a breath before turning her head slowly to look at him. As she saw the look on his face, she gasped and pulled away, pulling the sleeve back down.

"Wake. Up." Nathan slapped her and she winced, stopping her crying and staring at him.
"What...what did you do that for?"
"You needed it."
She bit her lip and her breaths calmed down. "I'm sorry, Nate..."
"Just wake up. He'll probably want an explanation by the time you do."
Her hand fell away from her arm and she let out a long sighing sob.

Nathan gasped. "Wake up, Natalie! He's trying to see your arm!"
Arachne groaned. "He can't, He can't!"
"Then wake up!"
She closed her eyes. "It hurts, it hurts, I can't, I can't."

Her hand flew back to her arm and she started to claw at it, mumbling little whines.
"It itches, it itches." Arachne screamed and she tore at Nathan's hold. He held her down harder and she screamed again. He was pushing on her arms. "Nate, Nate! That hurts, that hurts!"
"Don't take the bandages off, stupid!"
She growled. "It itches, it itches!"

She let out another sound and rolled away from him even farther, shuddering as she laid on her stomach.

She freaked. "She's touching me, she's touching me!"
Nathan held her still, forcing her to the ground. "It's Markos, dimwit. Stop thinking about it!"
"She hurt me, she hurt me." She couldn't stop repeating everything she said. "It hurts, it hurts."
Nathan growled. "Breathe, Nat!"
She was going into hysterics. "I can't, Nate...I can't, I can't!"
Arachne trembled and her breathing sped up as he touched her. She let out another soft moan.

Arachne rolled again, starting to sweat. A tear fell out of an eye.
"Nathan!" She sobbed. "You can't expect me to do this for her!"
Nathan wrapped his arms around her, careful not to touch her arms. "I'm so, so sorry, Nat. I should have done something..."
"No. There was nothing you could have done." He stroked a lock of hair out of her face and she cried even harder. "I can't tell him! I can't tell him!"
"He's going to have to find out sometime, Nat. That's life."
"But Nate...He can't find out. He must never find out. He'll worry for me, and cry and..."
Nathan pulled her tighter. "He'll love you. He'll care for you. Don't think of anything he'll do."

Arachne let out a little moan and moved away from him in her sleep, clutching at one arm with her hand.

Zarkt sat on the bed and looked at Peace with sad eyes. "What is mom doing?" He whispered. She looked back up at him with a puzzled look. He smiled softly.

((lolz wait...Markos did or Zarkt did?))

((...Zarkt took her with him?))

Zarkt smiled back before cooing at Peace and walking through his parent's room to go to his, shutting the door behind him as he did.

Zarkt frowned before shrugging. "Well, I think I'll head back over to my room. It has been a very long day."

Zarkt looked behind him at Arachne plopping onto the bed and falling instantly asleep. "I don't know...do you think she could be lying? I know she wasn't that tired after she left to go talk to Suzie."

Arachne came up to Zarkt and smiled. "Hey sweetie."
He looked at her suspiciously. "Hey."
"I'm heading to bed now. I guess you can take Peace with you if you like."
"Sure thing...mom." But she had already passed him, heading to the bed that she seeked for solace. She had felt horrible about lying to Markos so bluntly.

She turned back to him and smiled softly. "I'm sure, Markos." She moved back over to him and kissed him softly. "Mind if I turn in early tonight? Making dinner must have put a toll on me." She joked and started walking again.

Arachne tilted her head and winced mentally. She should have thought something like that might have happened. He talked to them a lot when he was asleep. "Oh, I'm sure she meant something else, probably." She moved past him towards the room. "I'm pretty tired." She said.
