It looks alright on my iMac :-? I can see the individual book and author pictures & links as well as the Amazon links

How are you viewing it? The mobile app version of Goodreads is notoriously bad.

You can, but you will need to wash and disinfect the eReader after you've finished ;-)

The biscuits will be the only way to celebrate Anzac Day this year. All the services and marches have been cancelled :-(

I'm guessing they will do a televised service.

Edit: For non-aussies. Anzac Day (25th of April) is is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that broadly commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders "who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations" and "the contribution and suffering of all those who have served"

4170 It's almost like you have a moron in charge ;-)

So do we , but your moron is a unique type of moron :-?

4170 Asohka would be 45 in the Mandalorian timeline.

Ashley and Rosario are similar ages (38 & 40) but Ashley is much shorter.

According to the Star Wars pages Asohka and Rosario are both 1. 7 metres (whatever that is in furlongs or fathoms that you old fashioned folk use) ;-)
Ashley is only 1.57 metres.

4170 It was an ok, but nothing special book.

Done. We've been pretty good with adding these (when forgotten)

It may take a few hours, depending on when the mods visit the site.

That must be the inspiration for "Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet"'s Blood Ocean virus

It's a comedy on AppleTV+, set in a Blizzard like game company, so I'd guess everything in the show can be related to WoW

4170 It's over 4 months away. They don't need to make a decision now.

We could very well be on the other side of the Pandemic by then.
The date of WorldCon is outside NZs very strict travel limitations that are in place now. No-one can know where we will be in late July.

If there is still danger in July/August, then WorldCon and the NZ government will make the correct call.

That may be the origin of that 'specific' term, but I'm sure he got the the idea, for the term, from the popular idiom "Mad as a March hare" which goes back many centuries.

I'd give the chances of that going ahead as close to zero.

Don't be surprised if NZ is in lockdown before the end of this month.
4170 I will likely read most of the books left in the competition. Even if they aren't picked eventually.

I think of Queensland and Western Australia as foreign countries ;-)

It's Daylight savings. Once that finishes next month we will be back to 3 time zones like America. (Western, Central and Eastern)

The northern States/Territories don't do Daylight savings. Hence the weird time zones over summer.
4170 Are we all subconsciously predicting that This Is How You Lose the Time War is going to win?

:-?
