The podcast mentioned earlier in this thread by terpkristin, "13 minutes to the Moon" has been doing a Second season podcast of the Apollo 13 mission.

It was due to finish up this week to align with the 50th anniversay, but Kevin Fong is a British doctor and is, unsurprisingly, busy with the coronavirus pandemic in Britain.

If I lived in tornado alley I'd have the deepest, strongest cellar money could buy.

Basements seem to be an American thing. As is flooding them ;-)

It, probably, doesn't help that I've been reading this since March 31 and 14 days later I'm still only 80% done.

I just don't feel compelled to read more than a chapter or 2 a day.

It's, probably, not for me. I'll finish it. I do want to see how it ends, but it's more style than substance.

The colours tell who's who while I'm reading the Chapter, but if you showed me a chapter I've already read (with the colour name removed) I couldn't tell you who's POV it's from.

They do a bad job of giving each character a distinct character.

I could read this again and have the POV character's colour alternated or random and I wouldn't notice.

It may have helped if they'd had a male and female alternating POV or had one of the females with a more distinct personality.

I have no idea which character is which when I'm reading.

This may have been a book better in audio where you can have 2 distinct voices.

I hope they're better that the re-booted "Amazing Stories" by Steven Spielberg on Apple TV+ :-?

I purposely only play games that have an end point. I know it's the only thing that keeps my games addiction at bay.

I will play a game to death (to full completion), then have a break for a few days before starting another one.

It's why I've never tried WoW. I know I'd become addicted :-?

I never got into Halo. Probably because I'm crap at FPSs ;-)

Great question! The red one is a cardinal and the blue one is an Ultramarine Flycatcher, according to Greg Stadnyk who designed the cover. (I kept thinking it was either a bluebird or tree swallow, but I was incorrect!)

I've been reading less.

I'm devoting the extra time to doing repairs and painting around my house. I'm also doing some Autumn cleaning getting ready for winter. I can't do audiobooks while I'm working. I lose focus on the story. I listen to music or podcasts that require less attention

I'm also knocking over a few video games.

Of course Trike would get sick on 'April Fool's Day'
