4170 Ok, one more last post. I've uploaded cover images for the pulp and fiction magazines with stories that were included in The Martian Chronicles, over at the S+L wiki. Scroll down for the most recent additions to this page. The first Martian story is Rocket Summer.

4170 Last post. Ray Bradbury has been drawn, sketched, painted, cartooned, and animated by countless artists. He was truly the illustrated man. This one is from the cover of Famous Monsters of Filmland #265, art by Simon Thorpe.

4170 The ISFDB page for The Martian Chronicles has table of contents for many editions, and notes about missing or added stories, so if you aren't sure about a particular edition, look it up here.

4170 As promised, more fiction mag links. Many of the stories in The Martian Chronicles were originally published in pulp and fiction magazines. Some of them have been scanned and are online. These are all that I've found, in the order they appear in the book's table of contents. Note: Some of the PDFs are very large and slow to download.

4170 John (Taloni) wrote: "terkpristin, care to elaborate? If it is for PC reasons I think I can guess the story. Its omission would be a shame, especially since we recently read Lovecraft Country."

One of the stories left out of some editions is "Way in the Middle of the Air" but there are many editions that include it. If your copy doesn't have it, here's a link to a PDF of the pulp magazine where the story was first published. File size is 59 Mb.

4170 I read Uncanny Collateral yesterday and got a kick out of it. I'd like to read more in this world. It turned out to be a warmup for (view spoiler).
