4170 Agreed. I also need to get used to the new Hera, but she has the right personality, and the rest of the cast is terrific.

I'm going to cross the streams a little. Ray Stevenson, who plays the menacing former Jedi Baylon Skoll, passed away recently. I can't help but think he would have been the right choice to play Shaxs in a live action Star Trek Lower Decks. May he rest in peace.

4170 I really enjoyed Venomous Lumpsucker by Ned Beauman. It's just the kind of book Tom would pick for S+L to read.

The three books in the Rook Files are all in the same universe, but don't feature the same characters. I like O'Malley's storytelling, but I read ebooks, not the audio versions. The TV adaptation of the Rook is visually fascinating and suspenseful. I think it's worth a watch if you get the opportunity. However, it's not quite the same story as the novel.

When I look at the series that I have read to completion or up-to-date, I find a multitude of urban fantasy titles. In addition to the Dresden Files and the Green Bone Saga, there are Rivers of London, Kitty Norville, Sandman Slim, Twenty Palaces, Alex Verus and more.
