It’s a nice compliment to the Jim Dale ones (I bought all 7 when I was in the UK for work)."I'm getting a kick out of it so far. I'm alternating with Whispers Under Ground which I've checked out from Hoopla.

Listened to Midnight Riot by Ben Aaronovitch to finish out March. I read the paperback years ago. The narrator, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, does a sensational job of bringing the story to life. Now listening to the next Rivers of London tale, Moon Over Soho.

Agreed, live action cameo in the Mandalorian is fine, but I'd really like to see more animated Ahsoka.

Still trying to understand what the Internet Archive is doing. They say "For physical books, we buy and receive donations of hundreds of thousands of books that we preserve for the long term in archival, non-circulating stacks."Does that mean the IA bought a copy of The Princess Bride, or did someone donate a copy of the book, or did someone scan the book and upload it as a donation? I don't think there is any way to tell. Very confusing.

No, I'm not saying it might be legal, just that the IA folks seem intent on making a case for their actions, which suggests that they won't back down. There are so many scanned in-print books at the the Archive that it is certainly unethical and unfair to authors. Libraries in my home town are closed, but I'm still checking out ebooks and audiobooks. Unlike my local library, the IA doesn't purchase the in-print books they are making available.
