4170 ‘X-Files’ Animated Comedy Series in Development at Fox

https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/x-fi...

X-Files: Albuquerque... an office full of misfit agents who investigate X-Files cases too wacky, ridiculous or downright dopey for Mulder and Scully to bother with. They’re basically the X-Files’ B-team.

Welp! I was mistaken. The copy of 10K Doors in the Hugo packet is an excerpt; the first third of the novel. So, it's time to check my local library.
4170 I don't remember which thread it was, but somebody predicted this pick a couple of days ago when they observed that Veronica had added it to one of her shelves.

Is monitoring Veronica's and Tom's shelving activity a thing? Do you check manually or use one of those website change detection services?

In the US, there were three episodes shown on tv which have been edited in various ways. I think this is the edit for UK theaters. I'd like Disney+ to stream the original episodes.

Another one to check out. It seems I bought the Kindle edition in 2018.

There are only a few books on this list that I recognize. I don't read much horror. If I had to pick a scary book for New Mexico, it would be Killer Flies by Mark Kendall, but with tongue planted firmly in cheek

For New Mexico, where I live, the answer is Little Heaven by Nick Cutter. I guess I'll have to check it out.

According to their About page Bustle has the largest reach and engagement of any Millennial and Gen Z focused publisher. Uh oh. Boomer here.

4170 They seem to have changed the giveaways to you have four days to read the book for free, but they are giving away four-day access to more people (1500 vs 500).

Orphan Black: The Next Chapter was terrific. They have a deal with Marvel to publish books in that universe. They have noir science fiction and fantasy, very entertaining.

By recommending names that no child could ever forgive their parents for naming them, the new parents are reminded that there is a little bit of pressure. ;-)
