Hey, Tazi! Oh look, someone else who dislikes their full name. Yay! :)

Electro looked at Mariola with concern. He couldn't carry her out of a stronghold like this. In movies and books, slapping people woke them up, but that seemed a bit harsh to Electro. Wasn't there a nicer way...? Lost in thought, he reached out to touch Mariola's cheek. A faint spark of electricity jumped from his finger to the girl's skin.

((Ok, that should be enough of a shock to wake Mariola up, but not enough to actually hurt her.))

((I'm assuming that Joey is still supporting Saffy, which will make it hard for him to walk and search and stuff.))
"Um...yeah. Noel, can you, like, scout ahead?" Joey made a vague gesture with his free hand.

(( D: Sorry guys. I was kidnapped to do crafts...))

"Yeah. Electro was crazy. Climbed over an electrified fence and everything." Still supporting Saffy, Joey went to the door of the cell and peeked out. "C'mon, let's get out of here."

"Mariola, please wake up!" Electro shook the girl desperately.


((so, Joey/Saffy/Noel, find Jade, yes?))

"I don't know," Joey said, keeping his voice low. "We split up to find you all." He helped steady Saffy and let her lean on him.

"Mariola!" Electro gasped. He ran to her and tried to wake her up. "Mari-"

((Hey, can the room Electro just opened be Mariola's?))

"I can't blame you," Joey muttered as he helped Saffy sit up. "This place looks like something out of a horror movie. Can you walk?"

"Yeah, it's me." Joey caught Saffy's hand and held it tightly in his own. "God, are you okay?"

"Saffy?" Joey followed Noel into the room, not as hastily though. He swept the room with his eyes. It seems like a torture chamber out of a movie, he thought grimly. He knelt by Saffy's side and reached out a hand to touch her shoulder, then thought better of it. "Saffy," he said softly. "Saffy, it's us! We're here to rescue you!"

((Hey guys... CHERUB?))

"Mariola!" Electro found himself in a blank white hallway. The walls were made of cement blocks, like at his schools, and strong-looking metal doors lined the hall. This looks more promising.

Electro examined the first door on his right. It was locked with an electronic keypad. He snorted - That's not going to help much - and put a bare hand to the keypad. Its lights blinked, then it put out a few sparks and went dim. Electro grasped the door handle and wrenched it open.

"Noel!" Joey stumbled back and righted himself. He took Noel by the shoulders to steady himself. "Are you okay?" I thought I was unnoticeable... he thought.

((That's exactly what I meant. :) ))

"Saffy!" Joey called softly as he crept down the halls. "Saffy!"

In another part of the building, Electro was doing the same thing. "Mari!" he called. "Mariola!"

Electro ran down the halls light-footed. He avoided the halls that looked less like places where prisoners would be kept and more like places for the guards to relax. Alarms rang throughout the building.

((I'm thinking there should be another EPIK FIGHT when everyone gets out. We beat up the guardy people with our wonderful talents, and then we break a random skylight and get out of here. Sound good?))

Joey smiled nervously at Electro. "Good luck," he said. Electro smiled back. "You too," he said. They slapped hands and headed off in opposite directions.

As soon as he was sure that Electro was out of hearing, Joey stopped and put a hand against a wall to steady himself. He was trying hard not to show it, but he was terrified. I have to find Saffy, he reminded himself. She's counting on me. He took a deep breath and turned on the little switch in his mind that activated his talent. Then he continued down the hall.

Joey glanced at Electro. In the back of his mind Electro wondered who had made him leader, but he had more important things to worry about now. "Let's split up," he decided. "We'll meet back here when we find the other girls."

"I'll look for Saffy," Joey volunteered. Electro nodded. "I'll look for Mariola."

((TEARFUL REUNION TIME!! YAAAY!!

Also Frankie, I'm sorry about dragging Noel along without you... I'm just trying to make sure she doesn't get left behind :( ))

Electro and Noel dashed inside the compound. Joey slammed the door shut behind them and hastily threw the bolts. "They can't follow us in now," he said, when Electro gave him an inquiring look.

Electro pressed himself against a wall as a troop of men dashed out a nearby door, still holding Noel's hand tightly. A few minutes later, the same door swung open and Joey looked out, his expression rather... freaked out. "Hurry up," he said.

((The door's probably locked, tho. Um...))

((Sorry guys, I kept getting on in the last minutes of class D: ))

Shouts emanated from the building and around the yard. Guards started running towards the breached gate.

"Run!" Joey whisper-screamed, his eyes wide. In a minute he had vanished from view, leaving Electro and Noel visible. Electro grabbed Noel and started dashing for the building entrance, forgetting that he didn't have his gloves on.
