So, The Physician. The title character is Rob J. Cole, who travels to Persia to learn from Avicenna or (Ibn Sīnā), and spends 500 pages, more or less, interacting with him. While Avicenna is not the main character, he is a major character, and there is much discussion about his teaching technique, his life, and his writing. Would this book work?

Would The Physician work here? It's 762 pages, about 262 take place in England, the remaining 500 take place in Persia/Turkey.

I am reading this for another challenge, and I'm so enjoying it. I would never have picked it up otherwise. This and the Seasonal Reading Challenge really help me stretch my reading horizons!

I'm not sure whether to ask here, but when an author writes using a pseudonym and the book lists both (see The Ghost and Mrs. Muir by Josephine Leslie, R.A. Dick (pseudonym), which name should I use for the author? Pointwise it works out the same, Dick counts for 10.2, but Leslie counts for 10.9. I'll use Leslie and you can tell me if I need to change it. Thanks.
