Yes itpdx, it was the earthquake. We were only in Christchurch one day and had only just arrived. It was a nice level of earthquake to add spice to our trip. Not so nice for the locals, particularly those like our coach driver who lost friends in the big one.

I have often joked about books jumping off the shelf but it really happened to me in a bookshop in Christchurch yesterday.
