36119 Would time travel books where the traveler goes back (or forward) more than 100 years from their current time work?

For example, Outlander was mentioned in Msg #3, but I haven't seen that it's been approved yet.

Yep! Note to self (again) double or triple check FAQs before asking questions.

Thanks for all the work you guys do to keep this complicated challenge running quarter after quarter.

Doh!

I knew I'd seen that wording somewhere, but I thought it was on this task specifically, and then I didn't see it when I just reviewed this task.. Thanks for the quick response!

36119 Here are few that I've read that I didn't see on the list(s):

Loving Frank (Frank Lloyd Wright and Mamah Borthwick Cheney)
Under the Wide and Starry Sky (Robert Louis Stevenson and his wife)
Clara and Mr. Tiffany

36119 If there are two authors, is it the just first author listed who needs to be 30 or younger?

I'm thinking specifically of: I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban

Thanks!

36119 Can I get a ruling as to whether The Diving Pool: Three Novellas would count for 'Not-a-Novel' Style points?

It seems like it would be in between short-stories and novels. It's 164 pages with three distinct stories.
I'm looking at this for my TBR Roulette choice.

Thanks!

And so ends the Spring Challenge for me. Thanks to all the Group Mods for their hard work in putting the challenge together and keeping it running. I can't believe that this is the 2nd challenge in a row that I've finished all the tasks. My reading speed must be increasing. (Either that or I don't have much of a life....) :-)

Hi Rebekah: So sorry to hear that your Mom has been in the hospital for a month! Add the floods to that and you've had a whopper of a month.

I'm helping my Mom move from her house to a retirement community setting this weekend. It's been a long hard process of winnowing and packing. I'll be glad when it's all done.

Hang in there!

36119 While these books can't be used for Combo points with other tasks -- can we claim Combo points if the book read for this task works for other tasks?

We can claim Style points for these books, correct?

For example: Crime and Punishment from my list would earn Non-Western, Oldies and Jumbo Style points. (I don't know off the top of my head what Combo points it might qualify for.)
