I'm not a massive planner, but the last minute notice and time limit makes me twitchy.

Thinking about it more, it's also the lack of warning on what the tasks are before the start of a round. There's no sense of 'I can start that longer book because I know it'll get points next round' instead it feels like a lot of short last minute challenges.

I don't know why, but I'm not settling into Turfs. It's not sparking my normal competitive must just read off the list for the most points spirit.

If a Medici hasn't taken advantage are they even worthy of the name?

Kabandha
1 350 to 450
2 MPG Mythology
3 Torso on cover
4 MC has a brother
5 Tree(s) on cover
Another one as I've been bad about completions over the weekend.

Rat king
1 100 to 175
2 rodent on cover (note: rabbits are not rodents)
3 MC takes advantage or someone or is taken advantage of
4 Royal char in book
5 MPG Non-fiction
Yay it's short!

I've got one that covers 4 of the 5. Just the last one missing.

I've picked up something from my TBR which I can start once I finish what I'm currently on.

Would anything published in 2013 work? If yes then I can certainly find something.

I'm happy with that reading of the task

Sorry it's set up on a server in our house and we have someone sorting out our internet connection. May be in and out for the next hour or so.

It was last time I looked as I couldn't find something on the list that also needed that title.

Good start on the 2 new ones

I think we have a monster from each wheel for now.
Cretan Bull
1 350 to 450
2 white cover
3 where something physical is destroyed (e.g., building burning down and not a relationship being ruined)
4 MC ignores important advice
5 7 in the page count

I feel like this might be a lot of individual books. The list doesn't look too bad to me and might be able to get veil in it or the page length

It's one of my favourite podcasts. The host has a comedian and a historian on every episode to discuss a particular topic (but no Tudors or world wars) so have listened to things like the history of timekeeping and lots of interesting non-royal people.
Melindam wrote: "I read tbe JA biography a long time ago. :D
Recently I read an Agatha Christie bio by Lucy Worsley. It was very good."She was an excellent guest on the You're Dead To Me podcast about Agatha Christie.

Glad to have been of service with your soundtrack this morning!
