35559 October Daye is a very good series and Seanan McGuire/Mira Grant is a wonderful creater of worlds.

The others from Sonia have been on my tbr longer than I want to admit. She can also recommend MM paranormals if that's of interest.

Black Dagger Brotherhood is another great series.

35559 I've just read Dead Witch Walking (The Hollows, #1) by Kim Harrison which is paranormal. It's probably urban fantasy but has some romance there.

35559 Let's see if I remember to spin this time...

The Living Planet by David Attenborough by David Attenborough

Listening to Blown Away by Carrie Underwood.

I was blown away by the book and the amazing things I learnt about our planet.

35559 If it is in the metadata (aka the stuff at the top of the GR page) then yes you can.

I'm butting out again now, so queries will go through Karolyn and Heather.

You can find any of:
Accordion
Bagpipe
Banjo
Bassoon
Cello
Clarinet
Drum
Flute
Guitar
Harmonica
Harp
Mandolin
Marimba
Oboe
Piano
Piccolo
Saxophone
Trombone
Trumpet
Tuba
Ukulele (or Ukelele)
Viola
Violin
Xylophone
Zither

In the text for this round.

If you look in rules and announcements, you'll find that xylophone might not be the worst word to have spun. And in fact the mods in their wisdom spun for an extra team while doing set up so you've been punished as much as the rest of us. We routinely forget that we will be doing the challenges along with everyone else.

Wasn't expecting anyone else to know it! Although she has a big following in Europe.

35559 Dead Witch Walking (The Hollows, #1) by Kim Harrison by Kim Harrison

Run by Amy MacDonald is my current listen.

Both are written by women. And Rachel certainly does a lot of running in the book.

35559 I made sure to pick the country roots with a strong story! The album of hers I've found goes back to that recently is Evermore which has more of the pared back focus on the song and the story.

35559 What slightly surprises me is that I haven't heard mention of an artist who started in Country music and has made an enormous splash in the mainstream.

35559 This task set was created before my time so Judith and I are innocent in that.

The wheel... not so much.

35559 Oh and Sammy? I completely blame you for the fact that I am now watching The Sing Off season 4 rather than reading. Luckily it's a short series so I might get it done before Wheels kicks off.

Second hand books are good, recently discovered that boot sales can have quite a variety.

35559 Sonia - at least they should have found most of the bugs through their unique approach to testing.

I'm not going to go far as threatening your freedom, but I second Sammy's comment of rest!!

If you read it more than 6 months ago, you can reread it for points. Otherwise you can join in the discussion, but there will be no points, sorry.

35559 The combination of the 2 is awesome and a lot of my audible credits vanish that direction (as with St Mary's and Rivers of London).

If the audio is by Wil Wheaton I'll definitely be involved if it gets picked.

I'll be reading the October BOM but can't commit to questions this time round.
