I've got a U I can read in the next 2 hours (give or take) if it would help with using all the books we have. Alternatively I can finish it in the next round for the endless vuvu (main character is Victor)

If there a letter we really need this round? I might be able to squeeze in another quick read before the read finishes.

I've got a mix of author and title links in that column. The names come up if it's a character.

I've taken Illuminae out as I'm not going to get it to. On the other hand I should finish How to Sell a Haunted House later today which isn't on there atm.

I'm off to try and read as much as possible of How to Sell a Haunted House because it just isn't that useful for next week. Then time to search the lovely suggestions that everyone has made for books that I want to read that are set in a useful place.

Do any of Liane Moriarty books have U/Z/V links that we could use as they are often set in Australian cities at might fit the location?

Urgh fire alarm batteries, v tiresome when they beep like that, but I suppose it means you actually do change the battery so they can do their job.

Oh and I'm definitely with you in not enjoying the sudden temperature drop we've had.

I enjoyed Anna Karenina when I read it a few years back, but it's certainly not a quick read and there are sections I struggled with.

They have enough of an issue with more normal activities. I think tentacle porn would remove the remnants of their sanity. A murder mystery must have them wanting to call the police on the author.
