35559 My kindle has nothing! Going to ask in the main thread for options.

35559 I was going to look for Victors as well.

35559 Sonia - I really hope you got a decent sleep last night and the world is seeming like a more manageable place today.

Will have a search for tors/soul sucking and see what if anything I've got.

35559 - Reptile on cover (turtles, snakes, lizards, alligators and crocodiles)
- Features a detective from before 1960's

I can cover both of these with Death on The Nile. Not going to be immediate thanks to the 750p chunkster currently on the go.

35559 green uno skip card

Don't SKIP this message! I know you want to call a HALT to the tasks that make you want to PASS out and MISS the maze entirely. I don't want the fun to STOP so if you CAN'T complete a task, just ask for HELP and use one of the words in capitals as a spell out to fill the SPACE instead.

Sonia's idea of doom was quidditch. Even sin towers minis we're not Sonia..."

Hey, I was pleased with the Muse towers!

35559 Not all team challenges will be tower teams or wheel. They don't happen on a strictly yearly rotation either so there will be some years when you won't get your favourite challenge.

35559 I've been meaning to read more Agatha Christie so can definitely take it

35559 In a shock to the normal world order, I'd say too much of a stretch.

The Girl in the Steel Corset (Steampunk Chronicles, #1) by Kady Cross was better than anticipated.

35559 69 - The Call of the Wild by Jack London

Really enjoyed this. Not recommended for anyone who is squeamish though given the descriptions of the dogs fighting within it.

35559 I've put something in for steampunk, which means we have 5 tasks unclaimed!

Thanks for the warning - the rest of the series is not going to be added to my TBR now.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't get the fuss about this new genre - it seems to dominate the GR awards and chats about the popular new books and hit authors.

35559 I was planning to have a search for steampunk because I've enjoyed the bits I've read in the past but my brain is trying to process too many things.

Bleurgh on Iron Flame - I had thought about reading it because the world has some interesting bits, but not sure I can deal with YA/MA angst and ridiculousness.

ETA I say this having read bits of S J Maas, the first iron flame and recent From Blood and Ash, all of which have a lot of people giving them rave reviews.

Cat - I'm reading The Call of the Wild by Jack London so might end up booting your carnivore depending on who finishes first.

35559 Oh no! That line is coming for you Cat!

I'm starting the year well, but once team challenges start, that's likely to go out of the window.

7. From Blood and Ash (Blood and Ash, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Right the 'romantasy' genre and I have issues. I like romance and I like fantasy. I quite happily read smut/erotica. What I object to is having a decent fantasy world and plot being derailed by incredible levels of teenage angst (even if the characters may be functionally immortal) and graphic sexual scenes. I like this things separately, but they are different categories of mood read for me and I struggle when the 2 are combined.

35559 The easy maze has 260!

I think the alphabet one is going to have 52, so it depends how much repetition you want.

35559 Yes given that tags aren't involved.
