Will have a search for tors/soul sucking and see what if anything I've got.

- Features a detective from before 1960's
I can cover both of these with Death on The Nile. Not going to be immediate thanks to the 750p chunkster currently on the go.

Don't SKIP this message! I know you want to call a HALT to the tasks that make you want to PASS out and MISS the maze entirely. I don't want the fun to STOP so if you CAN'T complete a task, just ask for HELP and use one of the words in capitals as a spell out to fill the SPACE instead.

Hey, I was pleased with the Muse towers!

Really enjoyed this. Not recommended for anyone who is squeamish though given the descriptions of the dogs fighting within it.

Thanks for the warning - the rest of the series is not going to be added to my TBR now.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't get the fuss about this new genre - it seems to dominate the GR awards and chats about the popular new books and hit authors.

Bleurgh on Iron Flame - I had thought about reading it because the world has some interesting bits, but not sure I can deal with YA/MA angst and ridiculousness.
ETA I say this having read bits of S J Maas, the first iron flame and recent From Blood and Ash, all of which have a lot of people giving them rave reviews.

I'm starting the year well, but once team challenges start, that's likely to go out of the window.
7.

Right the 'romantasy' genre and I have issues. I like romance and I like fantasy. I quite happily read smut/erotica. What I object to is having a decent fantasy world and plot being derailed by incredible levels of teenage angst (even if the characters may be functionally immortal) and graphic sexual scenes. I like this things separately, but they are different categories of mood read for me and I struggle when the 2 are combined.

I think the alphabet one is going to have 52, so it depends how much repetition you want.
