For this challenge you use the random number generator to select which books to read from your to-read shelf on Goodreads. Full instructions for how to use the number generator are here.

35559 I'm in! I want to read 35 from my tbr shelf which will be about 1/3 of my reading for the year.

My tbr is 190, with the long term tbr of 214 (a lot of classics etc or later books in the series that I keep hiding separately). Then there are the paperbacks strewn round the house...

I am always fascinated by the variety of plans made.

1.Jingo 3/1
2. Piranesi 8/1
3. The Chaos Kind 9/1
4. The Survivors 10/1
5. Feed 14/1
6. Ready Player Two 21/1
7. From Blood and Ash 23/1
8. The Call of the Wild 26/1
9. A Cut for a Cut 28/1
10. Appointment with Death 15/2

13. Redemptor
14. The Executioner

35559 I'd be happy with separating them, but let's see if Cat and Sammy have an opinion.

Belated happy holidays to you all!

35559 I find this tricky, because in the 2nd set of books set in this world, Malta is so much better. I forget that she starts as a whining, entitled brat.

35559 The 456 have been defeated, but the Gelth have come instead.

35559 I'd go for one of the bottom 3 as they seem like easier reads for this time of year. I'm feeling fried by life which is probably influencing my choice though!

35559 No problem ladies! Can't keep anything that good to myself.

You were being responsible for your team obviously Mel! When wheels finishes you have time to watch again.

35559 I can cram 2 hours of an audiobook and a 126p novella in today, right? Having both kids while my husband is out and 2 birthday parties to attend will not derail this plan.

35559 I'm plodding on with some chunksters so in terms of numbers of books it's not looking great, but in terms of page numbers it's looking much better (1508 to come from me by the weekend if all goes to plan...).

Yes, he has a black santa hat that says "bah humbug" on it 😂"

Think my husband would like one of those!

35559 Happy birthday to her!

Leaving Christmas to start tomorrow makes perfect sense in that case.

We used to struggle a bit because my Mum's birthday was 21st December and she would have liked to leave decorating until then, but we felt it was too late. We did normally manage to hold out for my grandma's birthday on 14th December (she lived with us for about 15 years).
