35559 I've been thinking the same and have set up a kobo account. It seems good for everything that isn't kindle unlimited. I haven't yet looked at their equivalent.

The Amazon linked product I'll have trouble quitting is this one - would miss you all too much.

Same. The professional reviews I have read have generally not been positive"

35559 Love that video of DT! Looks like he did a fab job of hosting.

I've got a few things on the go currently so I'm not going to reserve any of the tasks for a minute so that I don't slow everything down!

35559 Yellowface by R.F. Kuang and A Dying Light in Corduba (Marcus Didius Falco, #8) by Lindsey Davis are now finished.

Yellowface felt a bit preachy in places and I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as Babel or Poppy Wars.

That would cause the Falklander I'm friends with to throw the book. She's v clear about their alleigences lie.

Will look through my reads to come up with a plan...

35559 I've got a book set in Havana, Cuba. Feel like Cuba is central America rather than south so can't be used for those tasks. Happy to hear alternative opinions though!

That's a very good shout for Nightingale.
