35559 A Declaration of the Rights of Magicians (The Shadow Histories, #1) by H.G. Parry
Can I use this for Haiti or is it too much fantasy to count?

This is definitely the cheese I cook the most with, because it is a fact that it melts smoother than ice cream in Death Valley.

If you've never tasted Vegemite...it's unusual. It's very salty and kind of tastes like a gritty bouillon with loads of extra salt. At least that's the best way I can think to describe it. Definitely more savory than sweet.

Got it. In that case, are the books I would normally put there better used elsewhere in case we don't finish? Or should I put them in Mini 1 for now and we can move them to Mini 4.2 later if we need to?

35559 Am I correct that we have to complete a full itinerary in Mini 1 to get the points - or am I totally making that up?

35559 We finished the UK! Our team is awesome. It must be all the cheesy motivation.

I love Bring Me The Horizon. If emo qualifies as cheesy, they are a cheese buffet bar.

35559 I still maintain that the cheesiest music video of ALL TIME is You Spin Me Round by Dead or Alive.
So gloriously 80s cheeseball.

How many times a day? It's literally all I can think about. 😉
35559 DQs Day 5 Chapters 14 - 17

20. Well, I think we all knew that we were going to end up with Norma turning out to really be the lost girl and her being reunited with her biological family. Do you have any thoughts you'd like to share on that reunion? Or a comparison you'd like to venture between what we know of both of Norma's families?
That conclusion was obvious from the beginning. The reunion was very sweet and beautiful. I'm glad Joe got to see his sister again before he died. Ruthie's family was so much more loving and accepting than Norma's family. I feel like Ruthie felt like she belonged somewhere for the first time in her life.

21. Aunt June stays true to her word. She promised to help find Norma's real family and she managed to find the article that would bring this family reunion about. Do you think the conflict between the two women was well handled? From the moment Norma gave in to her anger and yelled at June to the moment where June told her that going to meet her family was not something for her to intrude upon.
To be entirely honest, I think June got away with a whole hell of a lot. She got to have her cake and eat it too. She got a lifetime with Norma, got to stay in her life once the truth was revealed, and as far as the book was concerned, she never had to pay any legal consequences for her role in covering up a kidnapping.

23. All in all, were you satisfied with the book? The story - did you enjoy following along Norma's and Joe's lives? The writing - did you enjoy the way the words flowed over the page, painting a world and its landscapes without however overusing words?
I enjoyed it. Trauma has a huge ripple effect and I think this book conveyed that well. Also, I wouldn't say I felt that vibe from the writing style. I do think it was well done and lovely, but I wouldn't say it was that vivid.

24. Would you read another book by this author? Do you maybe have recommendations for Native American literature that you'd like to share with the group?
I would totally read something else from this author. I've been trying to think about something to suggest to the group but why is it that all the Native American literature I can think of is true crime or thriller related? I would love a recommendation for a happier book.
