I've reviewed all of the below books except The Puma Years. I'm still trying to gather my thoughts on that one, so if you want my more detailed thoughts you know where to find them.My favorite books this challenge were:
The Puma Years
Battle Ground Finally caught up with The Dresden Files. 10/10 for the series.
I Contain Multitudes: The Microbes Within Us and a Grander View of Life
A Broken Blade Excellent series.
Undercover Bromance Fantastic series so far.
The Travelling Cat Chronicles
Out of the Silence: After the Crash
The Long Game Loved this entire series.
Intensity Again, great series.
Least favorite:
The Coroner's Lunch
Thank you so much Mel, Fiona and Sophie! (And thanks Fiona for the group invite!)
I'm done! I don't have time to read and finish anything else, so I added the two short books I read earlier this month but hadn't added to the challenge yet to max out my books. This has been so much fun. It will be weird to read normally again.
Unless there is another big challenge going on somewhere I don't know about??

Done. Sorry, i have been a bit absent the past week as my daughter’s marriage was yesterday."
Yay! So exciting!
The book I'm signed up for in Mini 1 isn't going to pan out. Or at least, I'm not sure. I'm about half through and I can't with any certainly say it will be 50% in Haiti. I'll stop that one for now and focus on another hard country to complete our itinerary.
I found this one and it's in Kindle Unlimited!! I downloaded it and checked - it mentions dia de muertos multiple times.
BUT, I'm not sure I'll get to it. We are in the end times and I still have books I'm signed up for. If anyone else wants to read it first? Plus there is currently a giveaway for a print copy, if anyone wants to read it in the future.
I'll put it on the spreadsheet but not sign up for it in case someone else gets to the task before me.
For a book containing 'day of the dead' would 'dia de los muertos' work too?I don't have one, just wondering what to look for.
Melindam wrote: "@KayLynnfor A Power Unbound you have a different edition + page count on your shelf and on the sheet. Could you please fix it? Thank you. ☺️"
My bad. Fixed now.
Sophie wrote: "It’s not the same as the original and has moved closer to thriller territory. It was still v readable, but not the pinnacle that I remember the originals being when I last read them (which was over..."Good to know. Thank you!
@Sophie - did you like David's take on Stieg Larsson's series? I loved Girl with the Dragon Tattoo but I always hesitate to continue series that are taken on by someone else. (Example: The Jason Bourne series, which were fantastic. Until Eric what's his face broke it...)

Consider it done! It looks fun. 😁
I haven't read this yet, but from what I gather the characters live under the sea and amongst the coral. Does that count as "visit a coral reef"?
Melindam wrote: "And another great rally of reading, Team!! 😊 We are done with Greece, so have requested a new spin (and I did write "sin" first, but managed to catch it. ;)"
China is now done tooooo!
Melindam wrote: "@KayLynnLauri has finished a book that also has "rice" in text.
Is it OK for you if we use hers and when you finish Eleanor & Park, we'll see what else we can use it for?"
Of course. Go ahead and switch it!
