Book: The Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick
Date Read: 18 May 2025
Pages: 305
Rating: 3.5 stars, it was a nice read, I haven't watched the movie but I was engaged. It wasn't the best romance but quite good covering mental illness issues
Works for: Mini 2, task 9
At the beginning of the story MC Pat packs his bag as he leaves the institution to come live at home
Ch 1
“While Mom is signing legal papers, I take one last shower in my room and then fill my duffel bag with clothes and my framed picture of Nikki. I say goodbye to my roommate, Jackie, who just stares at me from his bed like he always does, drool running down off his chin like clear honey.”
Also works for
S- Title
Character names: Pat Peoples, Tiffany (doesnt seem to be in our sellouts)
I am a mix of all three. I love listening to audiobooks during chores - kind of makes me look forward to them. Then I always bring the kindle with me to work and enjoying my coffee breaks with them. And then physical books are the ones I enjoy the most - so there's always one I am reading in home. Thats why at a given time I am reading at least 3 books haha.
Same here for one of my books as well.. but I think you do get 15-20 pts extra for easy vs hard country which compensates kind of..
Same here.. I keep avoiding the chonkers.. Every summer I think I will finally get to the 500+ pagers and then I put a super optimistic sign up books number haha which means back to the average

Would you mind if we used it for ..."That would be me! Thanks for checking .. indeed better to put Bulgaria. And that would be the first book I will start with along with The Silver Linings Playbook audiobook
Haha Thanks for the wishes!I love Julia Whelan! The books get a higher rating whenever she narrates it :p

I have that goal every year. It wor..."
He he ..not that great to be honest, but I still keep loading my shelves more and more and running out of space now. But luckily, I own many books set in middle-range countries of this challenge so hopefully I knock a few off
Hello everyone! Nistha here .. This is my 3rd time in the TT challenge, and I have been so excited ever since the sign-ups had opened. Thanks, cap and co-cap, for opening the threads so early! More about me - I am currently based in London but originally from India. I read a mix of all types of books (except non-fiction) but enjoy romance and thrillers the most. My current goal is to focus on the zillions of books I already own rather 👀 👀 than other books haha. However I am ready to read pretty much a lot of things for points.
Link to my shelf if needed.
Looking forward to a great summer of reading!
I got caught up with my boring wheel of life haha but thanks to everyone in team Noisy Neighbours! It was a fun challenge with all of you. Happy holidays!

Sounds good if possible Brooke :) We can use Vian's book for the next round too if finished after your last book.
That's great, we completed another circle of the gardening mini! so we can repeat yet another round of the gardening mini with any books finished after Brooke last finished (1 hr ish ago)
I can confirm we are using the Kissing booth for the second circle in our official sheet. We have unfortunately lost points for the first one. Thus we are good on the H2O task for now (till we complete the second round of the mini - believe one series task is left)
