35559 Wow! We have already claimed half, great job to everyone!

I am currently reading a 500+ page one, but I have a couple more in the 400-500 range which I could do this month. I will add them as soon as I am reasonably sure that I will start reading them.

The projections are helpful to see where we should probably focus more in the month. My usual book range always falls in the 300-400 one. 500+ pager books which completely keep you hooked throughout are a bit rare to find (thankfully happening with my current book, All Rhodes Lead Here).

Few names had moved down so went out of the list cells. I have copied them up, hopefully it is fixed now.

Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston

I read it for the audiobook challenge, and it is not my usual genre. So although I thought it was very sweet and very funny ..."

I had quite liked this one - thought it was too cute haha. But I get it, it was a very typical dreamy romance.

Btw, I can no longer see my name in the dropdown list in googlesheet. Think things moved a bit.

I recently read Gone to See the River Man and House of Hollow (its more than 250 but read really fast for me) and I quite enjoyed them. (But they have to do less with ghosts but more horror as a genre)

I have also been wondering to start Wheel of Time for a while, but it seems to be such a long commitment, that I get deterred. I remember reading about 15-20% ish and then DNFing it previously as I got hooked on other books.

@Nikki, I heard from few that the later books are also quite good.
35559 I can do DQs - Team Sip

35559 I am a bit confused about the BoMS (being new to the group). Do we need to nominate now in the threads for participating in the DQs or is it just for writing the DQs? I was planning to read the The Daughter of Doctor Moreau.

35559 @Louise, nice to meet you so sorry to hear about your partner.

@Karen, I had googled our team name with auto-detect language and realized it was Thai. I have never been there but always heard great things. Hope you and the kids have a good summer (think July is when the temp gets a bit better there?)

35559 Hi all,

I am Nistha, and will flood you all with my friend request soon, if not done already.

I am originally from India but have changed my location a lot since growing up. Currently, I am living alone in London. My fiancé is currently in Germany and we have been in a long-distance relationship for quite a while. I work in finance so I have very long hours, but I try to read whenever possible (during lunch, before bed, in transport etc).

I used to read a lot till high school and then I started binging series and forgot my love for books. Since the past few years, I realized how much I missed reading and have been catching up ever since.

My favourite genres are historical fiction, thriller, and romance but I pretty much read anything. These days, I am quite liking horror (more mystery/psychological than ghost aspect) as well. However, I find it hard to read classics (a few I love!).

This is my first year in TT or any group challenge on Goodreads, but I like to think I am a good team player haha. I love getting to know people and making new friends, so think this challenge will be perfect for that.

My shelf is Nistha's TTX shelf

Off to work now, will check in later!

A good week to all.

35559 Hi all,

I am Nistha, from India but based in the UK. I recently rediscovered my love for reading and challenges have helped a lot to read/discover so many books. I also love to chitchat with people and hear out different opinions. I am not very picky on genre, but generally prefer books which hold my interest or are just poetic writing!
