Hi Vicki! Yes, you'd have to choose the best-fitting noun (in your opinion) from the initial 5 you picked.

35559 Hmm, technically the first round started last Friday. We’ll accept your sign up as long as you can finish your book and post your completion on time (Wednesday 3PM EST). Let me know what you decide and I’ll add you to the tracking sheet :)

35559 @Midu, I see you have filled out the tracking sheet. Could you also post your completion in this thread please? Thanks!

35559 Rushali wrote: "I am just curious..Why do we have to choose nouns and then a final noun? Is it to make this game and reading experience interesting or is it a part of some evaluation for choosing the winner?"

The initial pick of 5 is to narrow down the possibilities for the final pick. If you have played a game of cards where you are dealt an initial hand and then pick the "best-fit" for each round, this is similar to that. The 5 nouns are your initial round. When the adjective is announced you pick the best fit (in your opinion of course!)

The mods will pick a winner, and I think we have enough participants for a runner up, every week based on what we thought was the best fit. There is really no criteria to win - I can honestly say each of the mods will probably have a different evaluation (silliest or funniest or most sensible or whatever). So, we encourage you not to overthink your picks, to be creative and have fun!

Nope, just the final pick would suffice :) Be creative and have fun!
