Hey, team, I got some blessed news yesterday. My granddaughter whose husband is in the marines and (poor guy) stationed in Hawaii texted to tell me they are having a baby!!! She and their two other children live there too...don't you just feel sorry for all of them? lol She's only 9 weeks old, but it'll my 8th GREAT one!

I did finish it prior to the time the round ended and posted it on time though. Just thought I'd let you know in case it matters.

It's OK, Ashley, obviously we have all done such things. I'll look into it and post it if I decide it's one I can get and read.

According to the countdown clock we have approximately 26 hours left to read/post our books. Can we start immediately after that time if we read a book but wait to finish it until that hour is passed?

And even though we can start the new mini today, we must wait to finish those books until the above given time, right?

No worries. I'd also forgotten to put a read date for another book, but I blame it on my husband again. lol Although, to be honest, this time it was my own fault.

I definitely finished it after. I kept watching to see when he posted it and I finished it then.

I read one recently for another challenge thinking it was China that we needed, but we needed Southeast Asia and it's in East Asia. It was a re-read but at least I loved the book and could use it in other places, just not the challenge I read it for. LOL

Erin, I've "claimed" spots because my book fits BUT I have also said that if anyone reads for one of those minis first they should absolutely feel free to remove mine and add theirs...no hard feelings! It's a team effort, so I am fine with any of mine being moved around. This last round I got a bit overly excited, although I'm not sure why, and added a lot of my books making me look greedy. lol (No worries, I don't think you were saying I am greedy or pointing fingers at me.) But I was excited to see open spots and that so many of my books did fit. The hardest ones for me are on the ADMIN mini.

The foods list doesn't repeat the countries list, so that's why I'm inquiring about that one. I think most of us could add to the foods list IF we don't have to wait for the countries list to get finished.

Ashley, I'm a bit confused about the minis. Family mini, for example, still has one country left to be read for. Can we add books finished to the A: Cooking from Scratch list below the countries or does the countries list have to be finished first? I have some books that could be used elsewhere but we're not done so repeats aren't OK yet. Just need clarification on A: Cooking from Scratch

Ditto! I just read a couple books that only worked for one letter. Better than none! 😂
