I had barely started the first BOM but I didn't get it finished. We can still work on it for this next week, right?

OH, okay, I am just posting every book I read. LOL Obviously (or not) I chose that one for Turf Wars. But I'll try to remember that for this challenge. Thanks, Shelby.
Zeejane, I’ve heard that that’s a really good book so hopefully the 15 hours minus the speed that you use will be well worth it!

Where do we add our BOM Participations? Here is my #1 post: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Day 1 - prologue - Chapter 5(posting early because I'm with the niblings over the weekend so will get no chance to post tomorrow!)
1. What sort of stuff do you like in your horror books? Do you like the slow pacing here?
For the most part I am not into horror. If the genre is horror and it's like a psychological thriller, I love that. I'm not into what I think would be fake monsters and such. So far the pacing is fine for me.
2. What do you think of the sister's and their relationship with each other?
I think they have a love/hate relationship. I don't see them as having a super close bond.
3. We are getting hints about the strangeness around the Hollow girls, and at what happened to them. What are your suspicions? Would you be like Cate with her daughters, and not push at the memories overtly or dig actively?
At this point I'm not too sure about what happened to the Hollow girls, but I am guessing it did have to do with the fae. I would dig actively but I would also listen and read between the lines. If I dug too much, they might shut down and feel like I need to butt out. There's a fine line not to cross.
4. The descriptions (of Grey's clothing in particular!) is very atmospheric. Are you enjoying the descriptive language used?
I absolutely love the descriptions. I use to teach my students to "show me, not tell me" and I think the author has done this quite well.
The book I am currently reading has the word cerulean in it. I think I (we) should get bonus points for it! lolI see bonuses added for wheels on wagons and carts. Where do I find what we can get bonus points for because I don't think I've seen those? Is that all we have, just for wheels?
OK that makes feel a lot better!! I’ll post all books and leave it up to you two which to use or not. I thought if I posted it, it would have to count. Lol

OK, thank you :)
Shelby and Silje, I have eight read books on the SS already plus one posted but not yet read. I realized that I signed up for 30 books a month so that's basically 1 a day. If I read more than 7 in week 1 (9 for example) will points be deducted or does that not happen until the end of the month. Should I wait and post all the books at once and just use the larger page counts?
Silje, I am sorry but I just now saw these posts and I already just added my books...5 of them, I think. I highlighted the ones that I added to the Week 1 SS so you and Shelby would know those are the ones I added. I also double checked that they are all on my Wheels 6 shelf, but you two will probably still want to double check them. I will leave that for you two to add in the future. Sorry about that.
Zeejane wrote: "Great job Vicki and Shelby for getting us started, we're off and running!!"Thanks, now the real work begins!
Shelby, I would've removed my numbers. Sorry to have inconvenienced you and taken up your time like that. My mistake.
We can also use characters' names, so that will help getting a few letters repeatedly!I will be reading It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover which will only fit C, but three characters are Ryale, Atlas Corrigan, and Lily, so it will for sure fit one of those 4 letters: A, C, L, R
Next: The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood Narrator - Laurel Merlington So it will fit A and L but not sure about characters yet. I'll start with those two.
I'm wheely weddy for this one! Just checking in with my team...perfect name for me right now. I wonder how many younger people know of the Song Mr. Sandman by The Chordettes. Hmm...

Okay, thank you, Judy...one of my sisters is also named Judy :)
It appears that a lot of you are already lining up books. Are the tasks posted somewhere and I’ve missed them?
