Captain(s), I read a historical fiction book for Battleships and posted it in the completed thread. Do I also add it to the SS?

No worries, we won't wait that long! Just waiting to hear from one more member who I think is sick or crazy busy at work. lol

We currently have 5 confirmed teammates plus another person whose response we're waiting to get. If for some reason she's unable to play we will be looking for another partner. Just posting here as of now but haven't added us yet until we have our 6th person confirmed.

I added the book weeks ago and have been waiting for that monster but I'm late seeing it. But I am glad that you enjoyed it! I'll definitely read it if we get the monster again. I can't believe that I missed reading for Sphinx.

I hope I don't offend anyone by saying this lest someone else shares the same last name, but when I was teaching I was looking for a teacher and we had to search by first name. LONG story short the teacher's last name...kid you not...was Titsworth! Can you imagine teaching middle or high school with that last name? LOL

Yes, thanks, I wouldn't have put the whole part of the sentence I wrote above. I should've written the entire sentence for your enjoyment. lol

Angie and Jenny, the sentence is very long but here it is: "Mussolini had done everything humanly possible to eliminate the Camorra, the Costa Nostra, the 'Ndrangheta, but like some kind of slippery, many-legged underwater creature, speared, hooked, slithering through nets..."

I think it works? And that sentence continues at with about that much more. I feel like it's written by Dickens. lol

Angie, I can read From These Broken Streets that covers all of the above for Chimera IF "speared" is okay to use. I can remove my book Edgewood and use it elsewhere. Let me know.

I'm reading MPG WAR for our challenge. May I use the same book for our regular MONSTER task? If so, please go ahead and put me down for The Book of Lost Names for T254 Chimera.

I won't get to my 589 page book until later tonight and finish tomorrow. It's my anniversary and the hubs and I are going out to a fine dining place with live music so that'll be a nice change. He does work tomorrow so we won't be out late cuz we old geezers need our sleep, but I'll at least start it tonight.

I just finished and posted my ROPE book.

Can we please stop drawing just these two:
4.) Read a book with sheep AND people on the cover.
5.) Read a book whose MC is a farmer.

I read one of those early on but had such a hard time finding those in one book. Separate obviously is easier but this is at least our 3rd time...ugh for those two. lol
