I know, right! I read Apples Never Fall THIS MONTH.. lol
35559 I have a quick question. If you read this book in Nov, but finished before the 16th, can it be counted?

35559 I enjoying my book so far, if anyone wants a recommendation on a good "space opera". I'm honestly not sure I've ever said that...

Only Bad Options (Galactic Bonds, #1) by Jennifer Estep

I should be done today!

35559 about 6.5 hours until start!

Just a note to let you all know that I may have spotty internet issues today, something is up with my provider in my area! Figures!

Thank you Bernadette, for getting those questions answered. I ended up having a busy weekend and didn't get on to check in as much as I would have liked!

Regarding the Team SS... just put as much information on there about your book as possible. We captains will double-check and put the books on the main SS as we go, so everyone's books will get used as efficiently as possible!

Does anyone have any other general questions before we start? I know when I first started doing challenges I always felt a bit lost at the start, but it is super easy once you get going!

35559 I am going to start with this one!

35559 Trio wrote: "Last question for now - do you want our books to be put on our special Wheels shelf only after we've completed them?"

Yes, this is helpful when we captains are checking your books to make sure everything is allowed when we add books to the main spreadsheet.

Trio wrote: "does that have to be the edition we read, or any edition?"

I will let Deanna confirm, but I know in the past it has to be the edition you read.

35559 Jessica wrote: "I do have a question. Are we making a whole separate shelf or a tag for this challenge? I've never had to make a separate shelf before so how does it work when you mark a book "read"?"

Trio did a good job of explaining. I would add, make sure your shelf is not "exclusive". When you are editing your shelves, there will be 5 columns after your shelf name that can be bulleted or checked: feature, sortable, sticky, exclusive, recs

Feature will be shown on your profile. This is usually like a favorites shelf, if you have one.
Sortable mean you can name a custom order of your books (this isn't necessary for this challenge)
Sticky shelves are shown first
Exclusive shelves mean you can't have the same book on 2 exclusive shelves. Think of your 3 default shelves: Read, Currently Reading, To Read.
Recs just give recommendations based on the shelf

We noticed Jessica! We will get it fixed!

35559 Rosina, I think it's just a typo on the spreadsheet, I wouldn't worry about it!

35559 Oh no Kirsten! I'm sorry you didn't like the book, and now you're stuck with it as a team name! We'll have to try to redeem ourselves!

My favorite book about books... This is a great question and hard to answer! Considering The Book Thief counts, it probably should be that one, but that seems like a cop-out. I have read a few others that stand out, so maybe Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore or The Midnight Library.

I have not read The World According to Garp, but it looks great!

35559 Hi everyone! I’m Ashley, your co-captain!

I'm 37 years old, and I own/run a family pet-related business. I live in Alabama (CST time zone), but I’m not much of a “southern girl”. I have 3 kids and a dog and a husband.

I love most genres, but my favorites are PNR/UF and historical fiction. I’m working hard this year to get outside my “box” and read lots of different things, and so far I’m enjoying the change!

So excited to get to know everyone, reconnect with previous teamies and READ!

Here’s my “ice-breaker” question: I LOVE our Book Team Name, since The Book Thief is one of my favorite books, but I did not like the movie. Have you read it? What did everyone think of both works?

My shelf: Wheelathon

35559 I'm beginning to think I might make a strategic wrong turn. Maybe I'll go North and then go south.... Every green and silver book I can find and have access to is an A-M book!
