Chris, I'll check the exact number, but usually you have to make three or more comments about the book to count points for partici..."

Is there a specific date we respond to the questions?

35559 I'm the innocent victim too....there must be something about people that are voracious readers and being the first to go. I'ts probably because we're to curious for our own good.

I've read Quicksilver it reads closer to historical fiction than science fiction. I liked it enough to buy the next book in the Baroque Cycle. They are very well done and thorough regarding history. He puts a new light on people of that time period that you only read what they did in history books, not how they had to live, love, and endure in in that time period.

35559 I have not been able to post because I have been in the hospital for observation hopefully I will be out tomorrow. I should be more active then. I am currently reading The Book Thief, I like the book but I have not felt the pull that excites me to read the next page. Maybe its the hospital food:)

I started watching Dark Matter, it turned out being really good. There is only one season but I highly recommend it. I like hour long shows that focus on more comedy than drama. My all time favorite TV show is Leverage..

I loved Babylon 5 and regrading Star Trek: TNG is far superior but yet the others have a special place in my heart. Enterprise is underrated but than again I'm a sucker for Scott Bakula. I loved Quantum Leap.

35559 After I saw our team number my first thought was the Rick Riordian series. To represent our team name the first book I'm going to read when the challenge starts is The Blood of Olympus the final book in the series.

I've got a few Dresden books left to finish. They're always an easy read. I was thinking of having another go at "The Wheel of Tim..."

My favorite WoT book is the Lord of Chaos (book 6)

35559 I understand Cathy, writing doesn't fall into my skill set as well. As far as BOM goes, I'm game if it gets us extra points as long as its interesting and available at the library:)

35559 Sounds good to me.

Curious, there are more than a few goals on the sheet. Will they be parted between each team. Or will every team get the complete list to work from?

I haven't done a serious look at the list, I was only wondering if anyone has some particular book they are excited to get to in the coming months.

35559 My name is Chris and I live in Indianapolis but my home is an Iowa. I am middle aged, but don't let my wife know I said that:. I am an accountant but I am out of work on health issues so my day is wide open.

The vast majority of the books I read are science fiction, fantasy, and classics. This year I started reading non fiction and historical fiction. The books I heavily recommend is the Wheel of Time series which is this the best books series pound for pound I have ever read.

I typically read 600 pages a wee, but will probably step my game up for the challenge. I am obsessed with challenges and picking out books that fit more than one challenge.

I noticed Hercules is on Net Flix, I don't know how the logistics would work with that, but I am game.

Have a great night!!!

35559 This is my first year and I have question about the goals. Once a member of our group completes a goal does that mean someone else in our group can't go for that goal anymore?
