I'm almost done with
Portrait in Death and realized just now that I've unintentionally skipped like ten books ahead in the series from the last one I read=P=P=P

If I don't need it too soon."The deadline is 9 pm Friday 10th UK time (tomorrow evening). That is one hour before the official deadline, giving Ashleigh and me some time to move things around if necessary=)

That's great, Halli=)
Zuza wrote: "Found a book for Y as there were many empty columns with this letter. It is Childrens - Middle Grade, but according to the arbookfinder.com word count is 83600, so it should be fine and it is also ..."Perfect!

There's only a few days left of round 2! We have a lot of unfinished words but can only send in one at the end, the rest of the books will be lost. We are missing I-books, so if anyone can find those, it would be much appreciated. We also need one more book with a tag, anyone?

Round 3 words and tags have been distributed! Our word is SEAKAYAKING and our tags are:
Ocean
Mermaid/man
Whale
Turtle
Underwater
We will fix a copy to the planning sheet as soon as possible.

I wanted to know if I can add the following book to the wheel round as it is marked as middle grade? Its 224 pages but its a new book so doesn't have an audio version yet.
..."I can't find an audio version of it either, to verify the length.

yeah, the narrator sings it (and he has a good voice) and at the end of the audio there is a different version of it as well=)

I just finished the audio version of Red Rising (great book btw!), and now I can't stop humming the song from the book=P

Rajiv, it's fine, just needed to know you had listened to the audio too=) if you place an audio version on your shelf, you use the page count from the default book, meaning the version that comes up first when you search for the book.
Just let us know if you have listened to audio and use narrator for a letter, but shelved another version you used at the same time, then we don't get confused when checking the sheet;)

Vicki, you don't have to find book for A specific, it is one of the easier letter to find a replacement for=) I did not remove the task from the task tab, I forgot. But we'll find out which it was sooner or later=)

If the character you named was a key person it is accepted. I haven't read the book, so that is for you to decide if is true or not. But yes, we can also move it to C=)

I'm not sure if everyone is aware of this rule, so I will post it here:
When it comes to non-fiction books it is the general rule that only title and the author can count for letters (narrator/translator when applicable), as it often is a countless number of people mentioned in these books, and they aren't technically characters. However, in some cases, such as biographies/memoirs, the name of key speaking people are allowed.

Kim, I see you've placed Queen's Assassin on the letter A with the reason "Assassin in title". As assassin isn't the first word in the title, this won't work. You can only use the first letter in the title unless it starts with A, An, The, then you can use the second (as per the rules).

Maritza, can you add a reason for the letter A and a task for Hot Pursuit?=)

Rajiv, can you add a read-date on Forest of Souls on your shelf?=)

@Rajiv, just double-checking: You did listen to the audio of A Burning since you've used the narrator for a letter? I ask because you have reviewed and shelved the hardcover and doesn't mention audio in your review or tags/shelves.
And how do you take your pictures for your reviews? Is there a lot of photoshop, or do you have that many accessories?=)
