35559 Also - slightly confused on the timing of our heats. We have to finish a minimum task for each before we move to the next correct? Books used to complete each heat cannot be started until we've moved on to that heat?

35559 Busy holiday weekend - starting Storm Glass tonight. One of my all time favorite authors/series so should be quick! Memory in Death is waiting for me at the library. Will be done with both shortly.

35559 Oh hey!

Anyone deep into JD Robb's In Death series?

The 22nd book Memory in Death would connect our first chain with Death Angels and Angels in Leather and get us our 7!

I have no problem reading it if no one else can.

35559 I have *nothing* planned so I will happily search and read connecting books.

Lets build off the heat Sarah started!

The Winner's Kiss - Sarah
Kiss an Angel - JennyWren
Angel Storm - Ozana

I could read Storm Glass next OR someone can try Storm Born.

35559 OK MH -

My thoughts for next book are:

A YA book for 600 pages (bonus book)

OR

A book set in Australia.

From what I'm reading - may be better to do the bonus book?

35559 Ozana - I also struggled and didn't care for Rebel of the Sands. Slow and although the concept was original it just didn't catch my attention :( I'm not continuing with the series either.

If you are looking for an 'easier' book - I just read that Lois Duncan passed away last week. She wrote several YA books including I Know What You Did Last Summer

35559 YAY TASKS!

It's like Christmas when we get new tasks :)

So just a reminder - in order to consider a task complete we need two books for each and each player can only do one book for each task.

Misses tasks appear to be a bit harder. If you have a book that satisfies one of those that would be great!

MH - do you want us to just claim one book/task for now so everyone gets a fair shake at them?

35559 For all the YA fans - I'd also recommend the series Something Strange and Deadly. One of my all-time favs :) . Author also has a fantasy book out Truthwitch that I'm trying *not* to read (even though I pre-ordered) until closer to release of the 2nd book.

35559 Throne of Glass series is probably one of my all-time favorites! Didn't get hooked on the series until the re-read of the first book prior to reading the second. Like the series so much I'm purposefully holding off on reading Queen of Shadows until closer to Empire of Storms release because I'm a huge baby about cliffhangers/waiting.

I'm going to a convention in July and she will be there. I'm SOOOOOO hoping she has some ARCs/giveaways of Empire.
